Hello All,
I am on my way to bed, in hopes of finishing up the book I am now reading (and am now pissed at). I was looking at TV in my weekend room. The weekend room is a room that has the flat panel HD TV, receiver, HD satellite and XBox 360 in it. Its called the weekend room because I seem to only go into it on the weekends. It's also the room that has the majority of my books in it. The room is crowded as hell, but I like it. Anyway, during commercial breaks I look at all the damn books that I haven't read, books I forgot I had, books that I have read and I wonder what's up with the author of this or that book. Tonight, my book scanning attention fell on Gloria Mallette. I love Gloria Mallette. She's real cool people and a damn good writer. So, as I looked at the covers and spines of The Honey Well, What's Done In The Dark (this one is a true 5 star ass-wiper), and the one that started it all for me, Shades of Jade. I began to wonder what's up my girl Gloria. I go on the net and see that she has a new book coming out next week, on July 16, titled Sassy. I went to her site (the internet is a beautiful thang) and on it is an excerpt from the first chapter in Sassy. Here's the link: http://www.gloriamallette.com/index_files/Page479.html.
Now, this is what I'm talking about!! I don't know, call me a ghoul if you want to, but I LOVE it when a book starts out with a murder or somebody dying! Gloria has never let me down yet! I am looking forward to this one. |

Hi Thumper,
I love Gloria Mallette as well!!! You should check out Living, Breathing Lies by Gloria, if you like family drama, you will love this.
