Hello All,
*To the music of Hello Dolly playing in the background* "Hello Thumper, Well hello Thumper, its so nice to have you back where you belong" -- to which I reply, I KNOW! *big smile*
I'm done being educated in biomedical technology and can't wait to read some good, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed, books. I've already started on some books, fortunately, it was a good one. A small memoir titled Kinky Gazpacho by Lori L. Tharps. The books is a gem, but more on that one later. I'm going to look around, get refamiliar with the joint and try to catch up. *smile*

Welcome back, Thumper!
I finished "Kinky Gazpacho" a little while ago, and had the pleasure of interviewing the author (should be published online soon). I agree that the book is a gem. I love her voice and her unconventional story. |

Well I'll be damn.....Thump Thump Thump, if it ain't yo ugly ass up in here LOL!!! Man, you know you've been missed! This is strange. I just got my stuff up and running and I saw your name on the board. I thought maybe it was some kind of...aaahhhh.....I don't know but then I looked at the "post number" and then it dawned on me that maybe just maybe your ol'dusty ass had really come through the storm. Do you remember the movie "Beloved"? I am sure you do and I know you hated it but check this out. You remember the scene when ol'girl came up out of the water lookin' all ugly with slobber runnin' up out of her mouth....you know...Thandy Newton played the part? Anyway, because you've been gone so long that's the vision I have of you LOL!

Excuse me Thump and I just hate to rain on your coming home party but I was standing over there on the side and noticed someone shaking your hand while welcoming you back and in that same moment they got about an inch from your nose and asked you if you wanted to read their book **LOL**.

You've come so far, I am so proud of you. I look forward to hearing from you. Heck I look forward from hearing from any of you guys. As I mentioned I just got back on line so I am pleased to be able to peek in and see what has been going on. I see ol'thump has been hanging out a bit.....that's a good thing. Time goes by pretty fast....well....sometimes! I say that because I just recently got my "walking papers" and to some degree it seems like only yesterday my world was......well.....dark. But today I say "what about a time called NOW"!

I see you are still holding it down. Yeah, I can do that. But ahhh, what ya wanna know. I think I've beat it up. I long version would be a book  ......well....more than I think most want to hear. Let's see....Bank Robber goes to jail....The story before and after that experience.....the trail....the experience of incarceration.....the life before the fall....the joys of marriage and family.....the death of a childhood sweetheart-your rock.....the dreams, then and now......the struggle back....faith....what about money....the man....
So Chris, yeah, I can do that but.....what do you really want to know?
