HEADS UP:
Kola and her African-American adoptive
parents will be on THE JOE MADISON SHOW
tomorrow in Washington, D.C. at 8 a.m. Eastern.
I hear Kola's going to talk about her new
role at SSPP and Kola's father wants to address
the various lies and rumors about Kola.
On regular radio, the show airs from
RADIO ONE in Wash. D.C.

Hello, Chris Hayden 
I was just about to post a letter
that the South Sudanese Government
issued about Kola today.
Kola's interview with Joe Madison went
exceptionally well. Joe was already
scheduled to visit Sudan next week, but
Kola was able to introduce him to key
members of the South Sudanese government
and the interview allowed her to show
just how versed she is on Internal Tactical
matters of the Machakos Peace Agreement
and the possible secession in 2011.
Kola's African-American father, because he
is still employed by the US Pentagon, was
not allowed to do the interview and Joe and
Kola briefly talked about that and the fact
that her father wanted to address the slander
against his daughter.
This morning, officials of the SSPP began
sending out this letter to members of American
media and others.
This one went to Ayaan Hirsi Ali and was
CC'd to Kola, but they're
all the same form letter:

Dear Ayaan Hirsi Ali,
Deng Ajak, BF Bankie and other leaders of the "Sudanese Sensitization Peace Project", an annex of the South Sudan government at Juba, would like to address the blatant abuse of
the reputation of one of our best advocates.
Sudanese-born American novelist Kola Boof wrote an article that appeared the other day in the popular African-American newspaper "THE DAILY VOICE".

In it, Ms. Boof, who is National Chairwoman of our esteemed peace organization, the SSPP American Branch, stressed her personal experience with racist Palestinians in Sudan and wrote the following passage regarding Israel:

"if our Arab brothers were to lay down their weapons today, there would be no more violence, yet if we of South Sudan and Israel were to lay down our weapons today, we would all be massacred, and the whole world would be
claiming they never saw it coming."

Because of these comments (and similar past comments), this exceedingly brave and passionate author has found herself the target of very aggressive slander campaigns by Arab-American Corporations and oil companies who have enlisted
a network of people to defame and lie on the
author.
African-Americans "of note", across the board, support Palestine and demonize Israel, and for these reasons, they unfairly attacked the editor of DAILY VOICE for running the article and continue to actively shun Ms. Boof.
Ms. Boof has been branded a "Jew Lover" and the complexities of Ms. Boof's "cultural differences" as an "animist" Nilotic-born female have been taken out of context and used against her to make her look crazy by American media.
Still, her actual novels and written works have been acclaimed.
Our hope is to reach out on behalf of all our activists, and most especially, our U.S.
National Chairwoman.
Ms. Boof does not claim to be an advocate for Jewish people, and in fact has a fierce devotion
to Black diasporic peoples, but she does point out very loudly that from her experience in Africa--Palestinians are much more racist towards blacks and that she was treated well and befriended by Israeli Jews, but shunned because of her color by "dark olive" Palestinians.
Overall, Kola Boof is an award-winning African "Been-To" writer and her voice
deserves to be heard, regardless of the African
American community's hostility and the often reputated claim that she is a "jew lover" and "fraud".
There are many of us in the South Sudan Government who will stand up for Ms. Boof's reputation and talent. Our hope is that the
smear campaign against this Sudanese artist will come to an end.

**We're all very happy in Kola's camp, Chris
Hayden, because this is the loudest and clearest acknowledgement that officials of the South Sudan have ever given to Kola, and she's been under
enormous stress for many years due to the various
smear campaigns that corporate oil have paid journalists to wage against her.
Kola has been around for 10 years now and
many people, including people on this board, have
tried to portray her as a fraud.
But as all these "fake memoir authors" keep
coming to light and fake people, no one has been able to discredit Kola Boof in 10 years, and look at how hated she is!
As usual, "racism", I think, also plays a huge part in the demonization of Kola, because she puts a black face on Egypt, and let's face it, she's not a normal type of woman, she's extraordinarily aggressive and fiery, but I think that comes from her being a soldier in the SPLA and the only woman in a sea of men.
On Israel, I think African Americans would be less angry at Kola if they realized that in order to get guns and ammunition for her country's army, she pretty much has no other hope than but kissing up to Israel and the United States. The African Union is full of Arab members and none of the black nations are helping in Sudan, so Kola has to kiss up to Israel for military arms.
Kola sees those little Darfur babies as her own
children, and she'll do anything to save them.

All of this might seem less laughable - I mean might seem more credible - if there were any real-world confirmation of any of it. Is there anyone but "Kola's camp" who can confirm even the Joe Madison interview?

It's not hard to contact the producer of
Joe Madison's Show, Darryl Green at WOL 1450 AM
in Washington, D.C. and the secretary of Radio One's owner Cathy Hughes (sp?) said they personally invite anyone who wants to badmouth Kola to contact Radio One itself.
What is laughable is how your ridiculous
hate-filled analysis of Kola Boof is actually
helping her to prove the mundacity of her
detractors.
This is similar to the "crabs in a barrel"
who tried to claim that Kola didn't hold an
event at the Schomburg Center or that she
wasn't working on a script for Paramount
Pictures.
Your desperation to have people hate Kola and
your fear that people will adopt her political
views is negating your purpose, and as a consequence, your attacks hold no credibility.
As well, we know who you are now.
I'm certain, knowing Kola, that she welcomes
your criticism of her, as she is known for openly
criticizing those she doesn't agree with, but also
remember that when you pass the line of criticism
to "breaking the law" or "wishing ill will" on someone, then what you have put in the universe will come back on you.
Being raised by Black Americans in an all-black
neighborhood in Washington DC, Kola understands
the motivations of certain people's fears, cynicism and back-biting.
However, Kola isn't going anywhere--but UP.
The Government of South Sudan itself has decided to become Kola's reference and we wish all those who hate and lie on Kola the very best.
This will be the last time that I respond to you.

Oh, right - it's my fault that all of Kola's "movie titles" happen to come from the same album of Arabic songs... that none of the geography or even basic place names in her "autobiography" check out... and that nobody out here in the "real world" has even backed up any of her more colorful claims... yup, definitely all my fault. Darn those haters! They keep turning up pesky facts...
