Although this might shock a lot of people I don't think I could come up with anything useful three or four times a week, much less every day. From what I have seen, Blogging is high maintenance stuff, and nothing has turned me off more than reading about somebody getting up, making their bed, eating, watching tv and going to sleep.

As usual, you give yourself too much credit, chrishayden. What you call a snap, is really a dud. |

I read a similar story in The Writer a few months ago about bloggers getting book deals. Most of them were white, nonfiction writers. I imagine it would take a great amount of skill and a whole lot of luck to get a deal based solely on a blog discovery. Far as I've heard, submitting query letters and attending events to present your book idea to editors and agents still works best. I don't think you need to write daily to have a blog, just a steady schedule to keep 'em coming back for more. |
