Hello
Sometimes I read the subject line of a post and then determine if I want to read it. I also look for my favorite posters and always read what they have to say. I also have a hard time moving around the site, so if someone posts and I don't see there name on the topic board I miss it......oh I do get around to catching it but only after some frustration. I started a new subject because I wanted this post to be easily found. The title has little to do with the text but ....hey.....it is what it is.
Last nite.....wait....I said in another post that I was going to back off of writing certain things.....I thought about that a while and I don't even know what the heck those "things" were......really....soooooo *smile*...hey....gotta be me.....gotta be.
Last nite I was standing in this small corner store and received a "private" phone......I....I don't know about you but I generally don't answer private calls but I thought it might be someone from the board that wasn't quite sure if they wanted to call.......I mean, they wanted to call but they might of been leaving the back door open in case I said something that didn't agree with them and they could just bale out and I wouldn't have known who they were and therefore couldn't talk about them on the board *smile*.
I answered the call and said, hello,......pause.....they said, hello......pause.....I said,hello who am I speaking to........after another small pause,,,,a small shy voice said, hello Carey this is A-Womon....A-Womon, I said, and we just laughed. See, we have a hisatory and all that just came back in an instant.......we started talking and the only thing that ended the nite was my dang phone.....again my battery went dead.......I know her by a different name so it's funny using A-Womon on the board, let alone trying to type it...anyway......like most there are things she didn't want me to share on the board .....but....but....*LOL*......I am laughing because she must have told me a million times not to mention certain things on the board.....I said, "women if you tell me not to say this or that on the board one more time ..........she said, "Carey I know how you are and you might just say that you are not going to say it but say something like, what is she going to do.....beat me up.....so I promised her I would not mention that she....ahhhh.....that she.....ahhhh.....dang it's hard......that she.......nope I am not going to do it....*smile*......we laughed like old friends on several several occasions.......that reminds me....she has the most wicked laugh....she gets lost in laughter......that cool....that's when you know a person is really enjoying themselves.......she told me that I've changed ...that I sound different........She has changed too......she has matured greatly......oooooh, don't get me wrong, she can still be a fool but....but she made me proud to be her friend. We laughed about the of the past posts we've shared. She reminded me of a story we shared on the board and some of the battles she always seemed to be in the middle of.......As you all know the girl can get ugly....I mean ugggly......like others, we've have shared family pictures......I confessed to her that a picture of myself that I once posted on the board wasn't really me........yeah....I so sorry.....anyway, the picture was of my parents....yep....that handsome man and lovely women was my father and mother....now some of you caught that......do any of you remember the picture?.......well, as I mentioned, I had exchanged picture with many and it still had some scratching their head......I wish I knew how to pull that picture up on the board (maybe someone can help)......I wish I knew how to do that because there were a few key elements in the picture that tip my hand........A-Womon said, "ouuu weeeee, Carey I was thinking something wasn't right because even though I had picture of you I thought maybe you had changed a bit ....but damn nigga, you would have had to be about a hundred years old..*LOL*....we will have to exchange new pictures...I think we all have changed...I've lost a little weight but I am still over 300lbs........I can feel the pause......I know that has crushed an image of ........forget about it......I am lying agin........I've never been over 200lbs....well, I once got to about 215...but 195lbs is about me...so relax...your fantasy is safe..*LOL*...I wonder if Sisgal and A-Women have any of those old pictures?......I know Crystal does......she tells me all the time that she goes to sleep with them....*smile*.....I luv you to babe.....
I have to say hello to Sese, I know she's lurking out there along with Cyn-cyn. I bet one could simply but a period on the board and Cynique would catch it....and.....and reply...lol......
Hello Diane....I shared some things with A-Womon about you and my desires to meet with you.....and she better not......better not expose me..*lol*.why do we do that....tell people something and then.....then tell them not to tell anyone???
I gotta go...I can get on this thing and talk....and talk....and talk hey, you are my family.....my AALBC FAMILY...you all have a place in my life....and I am greatful for that....BYE.

Hey, you remember when I said we all change....well I went to this little jazz thing the other day and they took picture....well.....well I happen to be in one....so I am going to post the address and you can match the image with the true silly Carey......I walked through some fear to do this because....well, you know....life has been ruff....anyway, it was in a place that served drinks and I don't drink but I found myself at a stool because.....I ...well..I got there a little late.....okay, here it goes...wait...once you get to the site click on "last events photos" and I am in there........It's not a photo that I like but hey......it is what it is....it's not like I was taking this around to get a job or something......
I should have titled this post as myth buster....my dad was a handsome man.....is there something about the big wind that throws the apple far far away from the tree..*smile*....oh well...

Hey Chris, see...that what I've always liked about Chris....he comes out when it's time.....did you notice I didn't poke at him on the board....dudes are a bit different than...ahhhh......the other sex......dudes don't alk much on the phone to each other....when they do it's "what's up, yeah....okay...right...yep...when?....yeah....right right...later".....Chris and I have exchanged e-mails....I would visit the site and not post and he was always asking about my well being....that was cool.....
Chris, I am on the page......wait a minute....click on 3rd Sunday on the main page...then hit on last event....the headliner ws a dude that played the bas.....you will see his face on the main page but you don't have to go that route....now that I've confused you.....again, hit on "third sunday", then last event.....I have on a Yankees cap....I am not a Yankees fan I only thought the brown in the hat matched my shirt........I have on a beige sort of jacket....I am standing next to the event hostess.......yeah, that's me looking like I am lost and smile-less. The phote is about four rows down....or is it five.....and 2 from the left......thanks Chris!

Someone told me that you lost some weight.....oh no......men don't talk about women and their weight.......it was a good thing babe.....damn, I am getting deeper ain't I....whenever someone says another has lost weight that implys that they needed to..*smile....MAN...I can't seem to leave this alone without putting my big foot in my mouth.....soooooo bye *LOL*

OOOuuuu Cyn-Cyn, now you know that left the door open......and you know we've been doing this for a long time......THIS IS OUR HOUSE......I don't want anyone to get it twisted.....Troy is the man and I've been gone along with Thumper's ...ahhh ...absence......ahhhh......wait....I some time apologize for comments I make on the board but the more I think about it.....the more I think about.....I've paid my dues....haven't we....yeah, F'em if they take take a joke....now were was I ...smile....oh.....wait, one more flashing thought.....Sese remined me the other day that you and she are....we think the oldest (in age) that regularly post around here......and I like to say this *lol*....I think...I think I've been on this block the longest......sooooooo......this is my motherf**kin' house......now were was I.....how did that reflex or match my image..*smile?

While I am waiting on Cyn-Cyn's reply I thought I'd do my thing.
Her post gave me something to think about.
You know how we come to a conclusion about someone by how they look.....well, refering back to that photo....is that the face of a Bank Robber?...is that the face of a Viet Nam Viet?...is that the face of a Grandfather? Is that the face of someone that was married for over 30 years?.......
I think of my wife every day......everyday, something makes me think of her......Sese mentioned her the other day......on the board she was called Miss Ann. I remember having a conversation with Troy and since Ann read books at such a pace Troy had thought that we....she might like to contribute to the site in some working way.....Ann being a reader for pleasure said, "I am not looking for a job, I just love to read".....we laughed about that because she truely enjoyed reading more than anything in the world. I know because I had to feed that habit **smile**....Let me stop, I was about to go down memory lane and although that can be a good thing.....it ahhh....it takes me somewhere I don't need to go "today".
