For those who'd like to know why NOAM CHOMSKY, Derrick Bell and Chinua Achebe are predicting that Kola Boof's novel "The Sexy Part of the Bible" will be nominated for the National Book Award, you only have to read this month's issue of the British Magazine, "AFRICAN WRITING": http://www.african-writing.com/boof.htm (*The print edition comes out next week.) Thanks to ZANE, there will also be a major announcement about the "new publisher" of Kola's pop novel "VIRGINS IN THE BEEHIVE" and that announcement will be coming by January/February. Kola Boof, with the help of Derrick Bell, has signed with one of the top White Male agents in N.Y. and has decided to place the book with a "major" WHITE corporate label--to demonstrate that she CAN whenever she wants to. I'm especially glad that she's easing up on her "support black business ONLY" stance, because I think the book is going to be a major breakout hit for Kola, and I think she needs that. VIRGINS is a "black Hollywood" novel like nothing you've ever read. Everyone who reads it are at first shocked, but then as they keep reading, they love it. Kola has instructed that I post: "HATERS" who spin malicious LIES about Kola Boof (which is everyone here) only drive her to fight harder. Kola says that being an "outcast" among the nationality who raised her makes her that much stronger. As usual, Kola says tima usrah (through fire comes the family) And that her "hurt" will come to haunt the lives of everyone here.

As my namesake says, I am usually always lurking. At the chance of getting my head chopped off, if everyone here spin malicious lies about Kola, why then bring her up all the time? It seems that she should handle her business and let her work and accomplishments speak for her instead of all this other stuff. Unless the drama and controversy are cravings, then my question is moot. |
