Anyone attend the African American Literary Awards event the other night? Do you know which folks won in their categories? |

E, I attended. I did not take notes, but if you have a question about a specifc category I may recall the winner's name.
I'm waiting for Yvette to post the winner's names on the web site.
I plan to post photos from the awards show. It was a decent event with a LOT of potential. I plan to help out next year too.
I may post some shots later this eventing...

Thanks Troy, I'll look forward to it. I think they should add a new category for next year, Literary Agent of the Year. What do you think? |

The Yvette who founded these awards is not our Yvette who posts here and who lives in Minnesota. Just wanna make that distinction, Troy, because I thought that's who you were referring to in your first post. Maybe some others did too. |
