Over the last few days I've been to a bunch of wondeful book events. It has really been a good, but exhausting week. I did not take photos at every event I attended but here are a few (well a couple hundred) of the photos I did manage to shoot. The events all took place in New York City from Wednesday May 30th to Monday June 4th. I will be able to generate a ton of new content from these shots Photos from Eddie Levert Book Party (@ the River Room) - 28 Photos http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=hgeq7si.8w92gey6&x=1&y=-6zows6 African American Pavilion Book Expo American, Dafina Party (@ The Schomburg), AALBC.com & MosaicBooks.com's “Black Pack Party” (@ Tribal Spears) - 160 Photos http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=hgeq7si.52u6nsji&x=1&y=7ooaju Peace, Troy |

can you, somehow, create a link that does not require one to join the listserv? |

Yukio, I understand. Yes I can create a link as you describe, but then I can't tell how many people looked at the photos. The email information collected is for my use only. I don't think Kodak uses it. Either way, I sure you can opt-out of any potential information they might send. As an aside, everyone should have a "throw away" email address that is used for this type of situation. Over the next few days many of the photos will be integrated into the web site. The next newsletter will direct you to where the photos are posted. Peace |

Thanks, Troy. I was wondering that same thing. I will look for the pics on the site. P.S. Why don't you folks ever seem to come to any book events outside of NYC? Not all of us can make it to the Big Apple. LOL |

Yvettep, I live in NYC and have a full time day job. I also have a family, so getting out of town is tough for me. I live in NYC I could attend an book event every day of the week (no exaggeration). In fact last week I did attend an event every day of the week and had to choose between conflicting events. That said I do attend events outside of the city and have posted photos from all of them. Though admittedly I'm a lot more deligent about getting the photos posted and shared (in some shape of form immediately). Last year I attended the Capital BookFest in PC County MD, The Nat'l Book Club Conference in Atlanta, BEA in Washington DC. Yukio, be sure to grab me at the Harlem Book Fair. You still owe me a drink. Maybe I'll plan an dinner at my home the night before. Would you be able to make something the night before?

Alright. Just have to meet you all halfway at some event in Chicago or something. Then Cynique or ABM can supply the drinks. |
