Onegin Publishing Company is named for Alexander Pushkin’s 19th century novel in verse, Eugene Onegin (Evgeny Onegin), which ushered in The Golden Age of Russian Literature. We seek to honor both a standard of literary excellence established by this Black Russian writer revered even today by his countrymen, and the sustaining genius of other brilliant authors throughout the African Diaspora. We launch in Spring 2007.
Our titles acquired to date are: An All-American Deal (novel) by Bruce A. Petty; Concerning Violence: New & Selected Poems by Ruth-Miriam Garnett; Running (memoir) by Dr. Lee Blount.
