Kreations Arts and Imports presents its Annual "Author's and Artists Event in Chicago and Detroit Event Overview Kreations Presents ?Authors and Artists?. An event designed to attract a diverse group of clients within the target market. The event would feature self published and small house published writers discussing and signing books and being interviewed about their work . Artists would display original, limited and open edition artwork. A relaxation oasis provided by Warm Spirit would feature pampering. Kreations would partner with both charities and other professional groups to ensure robust attendance and maximum exposure for both the sponsor and the artists. Last year's event featured authors were Carla Curtis "Grip The Rope - Prayers for Single Mothers", Monica Young Freeman "Loosed: As I Went I Was Healed" and Donya Hooks "The Temptress Files" About The Company Kreations was formed in 1999 to promote and sell the works up and coming artists both online (www.kreationsart.com) and in select venues. The website now hosts over 4,000 visitors monthly and Kreations has hosted successful events in Chicago, Detroit, Memphis and Indianapolis. Kreations continues to grow and market art through unique partner events like Authors and Artists and Art n? Jazz, combining the beauty of art with popular cultural attractions. The Event Location and Details The Event will be held Saturday September 24th from 2 PM to 6PM at Buzz located at 308 W Erie in the River North section of Chicago. The venue is easily accessible from the Loop Expressway in downtown Chicago. There is street parking available and an adjacent lot for $5. The area is well know for its dining, galleries and entertainment. Setup will begin at 12:30 on the day of the event. Participants are asked to arrive no later than 1PM. The event will feature authors with books from on many different topics from poetry, fiction, self-help, and inspiration. No topic will be left uncovered. The program will depend on the number of attendees and subject matter. with only four hours we want the audience to have plenty of time to talk one on one with all participants. A tradition at our events we will feature a pampering room for attendees. A raffle will be held for a Seven Day Cruise For Two Compliments of one of our sponsors. As well as other still to be determined raffle item giveaways. As stated in the participant agreement you will keep all sales from your books. We suggest you have multiple pay options (cash/credit) if you do not please let us know and we may be of assistance to you. Payment of the Participants Fee The Fee schedule is as follows * $75 if paid prior to Aug. 15th * $125 after Aug. 15th Space is limited so we suggest early payment. Also early payment guarantees mention in all advertisements for the event. You can pay with a credit card online. Please notify us and we will send you a direct bill invoice. Your payment will serve as acceptance of the terms of the participant agreement. The list is made up of urban professionals 28-35 in the Chicago area. Gemstones is currently working with actor Larenz Tate and his family on their annual Tate Brothers Foundation Events * The Kreationsart.com website. The event will be prominently displayed on the site Kreationsart.com receives up to 50,000 hits monthly. * The 220 Communications website, our sister company receives 5,000 hits monthly * Kreations Mailing Lists: Over 2300 email and over 1000 direct mail addresses * "The Network" the newsletter for Kreations and 220 communications customers 2 full months of coverage including author pictures and bios and event details. * Press Release of Event. To be released at 30 days prior through PR.Com to over 300 press outlets across the country. * Newspaper Listing in Events Calendars of N'Digo and the Chicago Sun Times * Online Advertisements through City Alert Chicago, Milwaukee Online, The Chicago Reader, and Channel 2 Chicago. * Word of Mouth- this is the second year this event will be held in Chicago.
