The Boston Book Bazaar Returns!

Boston MA October 21, 2006, Attention avid book readers and book lovers come meet all of your favorite authors in one place. This year, Boston will be having its third Book Bazaar supporting African American traditionally published, self-published and small press authors at The Roxbury Center for Arts at Hibernian Hall 182-186 Dudley Street Roxbury, MA 02119 from 12-7pm. The event is sponsored by Kindle Eyes Books and Ebony Expressions Book club with the drive to increase African American Literacy and support self-published and small press authors.
For the third year in a row the Boston Book Bazaar will give self-published authors and small publishers a chance to meet with other authors and readers to expand their audience. With such serge of African American readers in the Boston Community an event like this is very much welcomed. Readers will have a chance to meet with favorite authors, purchase their latest novels and have their books signed. Aspiring writers will get a chance to network with established authors, obtain information about self-publishing, traditional publishing and build a relationship with booksellers such as Lloyd Hart from the Black Library Booksellers. During the bazaar keynote speaker Gloria Mallette, National Best Selling Author of What’s Done In The Dark and The Honey Well, will address the audience with her success story, self-publishing and being a best selling author. And Special guest speaker K’wan Foye author of Eve, Hoodlum and Street Dreams will enlighten us with his journey to becoming one of the hottest Urban Authors in the game.
Authors will be signing, reading and selling their latest novels as well as participating in author panels. For added fun, every 30 minutes, lucky participants will win giveaways. This is a community-sponsored event, so admission is free. Don’t miss this exciting chance to be apart of New England’s largest author expo.
