I will be visiting Austin for a couple days and would love to go to a good black restaurant or some other spot to hang out.

So far I have heard Hoover's is a great place to eat. I like shopping and the arts, African American themed. Clubs-not so much. Thanks. |

Go to Pappadeaux's The food there is incredible if you like sea food Cajun cooking and Jazz. Whenever I go to Texas I make a point of heading there. Stay away from sixth st. and and anything close to it at night. The college crowd is in full effect and traffic and parking is horrendous! http://www.pappadeaux.com/pdxlocations.htm AUSTIN 6319 I-35 N. @ 290 Austin TX 78752 (512) 452-9363 FAX (512) 452-8541 MAP http://maps.yahoo.com/index.php#q1=10795+Davis+Dr.%2C+Alpharetta%2C+GA+30004%2C+ us BatMo-> |
