Why do supporters of illegal immigration and many Latinos in particular try to rationalize their crooked thinking through the dubious phasod of the so-called wonderful contributions that they supposedly make to the U.S. economy? Paying a nickel more for a pound of potatoes won't exactly put the gardener out of work. Hmmm... |

It's not so much about the U. S. economy as it is the U. S. landscape. I appreciate having the Mexicans show up to mow and edge up my lawn every other week. It's also about the psychological terrain. These people, out of necessity, have a great work ethic. I hear black folks griping about their Mexican co-workers in factories making them look bad with their dilligence and efficiency on the job. Illegals are to the workplace what Asians are to the classroom. |

Yep. And the illegals are afraid of the Immigration authorities so they try to keep a low profile in these factories by working extra hard - which, as you will recall, I said pissed off the other workers who wanted to work at a slower pace. |

i think that they need to learn how to speak english before they come over here. i went to this restaurant and the dude had to get his manager to take my order. how are you going to be a waiter and not be able to speak english? i wouldn't go to another country trying to work w/o understanding the language. not to mention they short changed me on the meat in those burritos i ordered.

This morning on the news they stated that the much of the fall harvest may rot in the fields for lack of illegals to harvest it.
