How's Hillary gonna make Oprah pay? Not come on Oprah's show to plug any future books she writes? Not allow Oprah to be a part of the village that it takes to raise a child? Say she thinks Condoleeza Rice is more powerful than Oprah? Puleeze. Oprah doesn't really have any political power per se. |

She can hurt Oprah's pocket book and popularity. Ratings go down and you got unpleasant circumstances. If, after she is the nominee, Oprah does not transfer allegiance and support to her--no she will not go on Oprah's show. Nor will anybody who wants to stay on her good side. And advertisers may be leery. Conservatives already hate Oprah. And what happens once the vast audience of suburban white women that is Oprah's bread and butter is split--or decides for Hillary--as I figure they might. Now, suppose I am a Hillary supporter. Am I going to have O Magazine in the house? Will a Republican have Coke? |

She can hurt Oprah's pocket book and popularity. How so? Nor will anybody who wants to stay on her good side. I think more folks will be concerned about staying on Oprah's good side than HRC's. Conservatives already hate Oprah. And they love HRC???? I think Oprah will be alright. Maybe she'll even be VP, lol ;-)

You don't see too many other businessmen lining up behind people in the primaries-- The losers always get frozen out unless they throw their money and support behind the winner because they made the winner spend money they wouldn't have to spend Though I don't think he will even be around for the primaries right now Hillary is spending money she wouldn' have to spend for a coronation--if she could get all Obama's strength she would be the nominee right now hands down. Much less if it has to get personal. |

Oprah is invincible. A win by Hillary will in no way reduce her vast fortune. "O" only plans to do her show a few more years after which time she has said she plans to retire in live out her life doing as she pleases. |

Informal random polls around Chicagoland indicate that voters will not be influenced by Oprah. She may be able to tell white suburban housewives and big city career gals what books to read and how to live their best lives, but these women and their mates ain't about to allow their "mammy" to tell them who to vote for. BTW, Oprah's good buddy Quincy Jones as well as Berry Gordy are among Hillary's supporters who will be attending a fund raising bash hosted by Magic and Cookie Johnson in LA. |

Puleeze. Oprah always shows "balls". She does as she damn well pleases. How much fortitude does it take to back Obama? A lot of celebs both black and white are supporting him. |
