Since you read it why don't you cite which paragraph you are referring to. Or do you think we're all going to read all of that? Make yourself useful and get on your job!!!

(No. I'm going to have you read the whole thing. You need to read the whole thing. Print it out and take your time. There's no rush. Five more months until 2008) |

In the future please do this. People are busy. Thank you. (When the White folks told you to read the constitution, did you ask them to sum it up in a paragraph? How about when the white folks told you you should read your Bible? Did you say you were too busy, or they should give you a breakdown? How about when you signed a lease? Bought a car? Since you did not just get off the boat, you know that sometimes there are things you have to read through, though it hurts yo' l'il haid, an' you don' use it fo' white folks bizness like thinkin' but fo' bustin' open' watermillions and thangs. Print it out and take your time and read it. |

It ain't that important, you fool. Summarize the essence next time you start a thread about it and STFU. |

When you want to hide something from a Negro, put it in a book. Apparently this holds also for so called educated Negroes--who are too lazy and trifling to print something out--maybe three pages worth, and study it. Wonder what Bill Cosby would say about this? Wonder would HE read it? |

Try this SHORT VERSION then Chattanoogan, May 24: Bush Makes Power Grab President Bush, without so much as issuing a press statement, on May 9 signed a directive that granted near dictatorial powers to the office of the president in the event of a national emergency declared by the president. The "National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive," with the dual designation of NSPD-51, as a National Security Presidential Directive, and HSPD-20, as a Homeland Security Presidential Directive, establishes under the office of president a new National Continuity Coordinator. That job, as the document describes, is to make plans for "National Essential Functions" of all federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal governments, as well as private sector organizations to continue functioning under the president's directives in the event of a national emergency. The directive loosely defines "catastrophic emergency" as "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions." When the President determines a catastrophic emergency has occurred, the President can take over all government functions and direct all private sector activities to ensure we will emerge from the emergency with an "enduring constitutional government." Translated into layman's terms, when the President determines a national emergency has occurred, the President can declare to the office of the presidency powers usually assumed by dictators to direct any and all government and business activities until the emergency is declared over |

Thank you. First off, I really am busy with other matters right now. And I wasn't just asking for myself. If you're going to create a post pointing out a specific issue, then direct attention to it instead of posting the Encyclopedia Britannica and expecting people to be interested. Some people who visit the forum have day jobs and other things going on and they don't have time to spend reading all the mundane things that you post. Have a nice day.

Thank you. First off--snip. All those excuses are weak as water. Pathetic. You are just a lazy bum. Probably lying around on the couch all day eating bon bons and watching soap operas. I'll bet your thighs weigh sixty pounds apiece! Mundane--this is not mundane. It is a power grab of momentous proportions that has taken place right in front of our noses--and you am too lazy to print it outand read it. What would Bill Cosby say to you? |

Chris Hayden - If you'd like to believe that I'm a lazy bum, that's fine with me. I really don't care. But I can promise you that I'm a very busy person. Busy as in doing constructive/productive things, not sitting around sucking on beers, eating crackers and sweat meat and the rest of the tired bullshit that you do to piss your time away. Have a nice day.
