Mzuri may take a while answering; she is probably having a musical orgasm. LOL And in the UK a newspaper was giving away his new album FOR FREE. |

"3121" scent website: http://www.3121perfume.com/pages/ad.html I recently smelled it at Macy's. Not what I expected. Extremely floral...kinda puts me in a mind of a fragrance my great aunt used to wear. But still nice if you're into perfume. (...Which I am not, really. The only bottles I have are ones I have received as gifts, and I still have bottles from 5, 6 years ago.) |

A review of his concerts from one of our local papers: "Minneapolis, I am home," Prince declared after his first song on Saturday. This was going to be no ordinary Prince homecoming. On the seventh day of the seventh month in the year '07, the Purple One was venturing where he'd never gone before: three concerts at three separate venues in three consecutive blocks in downtown Minneapolis in the course of 10 or 12 hours. Doesn't he ever rest? Full story: http://www.startribune.com/music/story/1290348.html |

Apparently, even Prince isn't enough of a king in Minneapolis to bend the law. The rock legend's much-anticipated return to First Avenue nightclub was unplugged by police early Sunday after it went almost an hour past the required 3 a.m. closing time. "We gotta do what the authorities say," Prince told the sold-out crowd, which waited around until 2:45 a.m. for the singer to take the stage where he filmed 1984's "Purple Rain." It was his first performance there since 1987, and it was cut short at just over an hour. ..."I think it's very arrogant of him to think he can hold us here like this," said [Police Sgt.] Nelson, who did not believe an exception should be made for the homegrown Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. "The law is the law for anybody." ...Coincidentally or not, he did have time to perform his 1982 hit "Controversy," which includes the line, "[I] wish there were no rules."We're at First Ave," he said at the start of the song, "We gotta do it"... Ava Adore by Smashing Pumpkins: You'll always be my whore Cause you're the one that I adore I'll pull your crooked teeth You'll be perfect just like me In you I feel so dirty In you I crash cars In you I feel so pretty In you I taste God We must never be apart |

ADORE is a PRINCE song you nimrod. Can I get thru one day on this forum without having to call you out for your sheer and utter stupidity. I have told you before that you don't have time to waste hanging out on a forum, you need to read a book and get a clue. http://www.lyricsfreak.com/p/prince/adore_20111247.html

You're welcome, Mzuri! Ole boy had quite a homecoming. I finally listened to the new album. (Can we still call them "albums"?) I was working while listening so was not paying full attention, but overall I liked it. A couple cuts I really liked. At any rate, it'll be on my iPod soon after it is released. Renata, you're a Smashing Pumpkins fan? I remember that video for that song you quoted. I think it gave me nightmares! What do you think of their new one? I feel reeeeely old and fuddy-duddyish: I first heard about it on NPR, LOL! |

Cynique, I think Prince is who you should sing back-up for! You could move to Vegas! By day you could play the slots with the tourists and little old ladies and by night you can sing "woop-woops" into a mic behind the Purple One himself! What do you say?

I haven't heard the new one and I'm not in a big rush to hear it. I'll get to it when I get to it. The "reunion" only includes 2 of the original 4 members. As far as I'm concerned, if they don't have James Iha (who wrote my favorite songs by them...all of the really soft stuff), there not really the Pumpkins. |

I still call the CDs albums since they are a collection of songs. BTW, the Yvette graphic was supposed to be animated with glitter but it didn't come out right after several tries. I'll do better next time

Well, Yvettte, maybe I'd have a shot at backing Prince up. He does seem to be tight with Mavis Stapelton, and my ol Chicago homie might put in a good word for me. |

I'll be looking out for you on stage, then! Maybe in preparation you should begin working on a new stage moniker. (Perhaps a symbol of some sort???) Then on here you could be "_______, the poster formerly known as Cynique." |

LOL @ LiLi! Now I know why you haven't been...active in a while: Your standards are too unrealistic. Girl, you better get yourself to a bowling alley or Home Depot or someplace else where regular Joes hang out, and set your sights more within reach! |

Heeey look me over! Tell me do you like what you see, Might not know it now, But, baby,I'm a star, Yes I are! woo-woo. |

Sorry but the wardrobe consultant is the final decision maker of what you will be wearing. And that would be purple everything including your hair |
