Man, I've been living in predominantly black neighborhoods for the majority of my life and I really like it that way...but if I lived in St. Louis, I'd stay away from where ever it you live. Your neighborhoods sounds downright DANGEROUS, I don't care what race of folks live there. Shootings, drunk naked asses, early morning prostitutes.......man, maybe you should move. You'd love DeKalb County or Clayton County, GA. Both predominantly black areas, and safe enough for a female to walk a mile after midnight with no problem. |

but if I lived in St. Louis, I'd stay away from where ever it you live. Your neighborhoods sounds downright DANGEROUS (Lets you know what a dangerous macho man the Chrisman is, don't it. LOOK OUT CYNIQUE! I'M COMIN'! I'M COMIN' TA GITCHA! You'd love it--anyway, all the big time dope dealers, killer cops and secret perverts live out there where you are. And all the really professional burglars know they got to go out there where you are because we don't have anything. All the carjacker, rapists, and also the real estate developers looking to bust your blocks by moving no goodniks in--my neighborhood has gone through this and now is going back the other way. You'd love DeKalb County or Clayton County, GA. Both predominantly black areas, and safe enough for a female to walk a mile after midnight with no problem. (That's how mine was 25 years ago. Just wait. The whole world will be my neighborhood in 10 years) So how safe are you, really?)

Right. It's safe enough to walk a mile after midnight without a problem. Until you have a problem. Have you never heard of the proverb "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"? Lord please give this child some common sense. Amen.

Now just find any women in those areas with a problem. Many women here have jobs that they have to leave late at night, and many of them ride the bus. I'll tell you when there are problems. So far....none. Heck, before my son was born, I'd hang out at the women's shelter until the latecomers would walk in....2, 3, 4 hours after curfew. Drove by there a few weeks ago.....they've built a second floor and a HUGE back patio onto the building. Looks real good. Chris, move to the Cascades...I'm sure you'd like it. Homes range in price from 85,000 (for one and two bedroom condos) to over a million dollars. And many of the streets/buildings/schools, etc. are named after black people (Benjamin Mays, Ben Hill, etc.) The mayor lives there, too....so there's often police surveillance. I think it's 24 hours near her home. I'm just proud she didn't become mayor and move out of the black part of town, like Campbell did. |

"The whole world will be my neighborhood in 10 years." Oh really? How so.....? (The violence is going to get contagious and out of hand--mix in food shortages, fuel shortages, economic collapse, a flood of desperate people from the Southern hemisphere trying to get into the northern and the Anglo American striving to remain #1--not to mention water wars, natural disasters--it is gonna be a rockin' good time! |
