I LOVED it. He really threw us a curve. I had all these scenarios worked out as to how Tony would get it and he just yanks the plug. Haw. He's no fool. Now if they fall on hard times they can do some sequels--Made for TV movies, etc. |

I predicted that Tony would go into the federal witness protection program - get a new face and maybe move to Las Vegas and run a casino or something. But I was wrong. My favorite part of last night's finale was Phil Leotardo getting whacked and his head crushed under the SUV. That was great because I never did like his character. Anyway, I've been thinking about the ending and they should have used what they ended with last week - the scene where Tony goes to bed in the room upstairs holding his gatling gun. That would have been a better finale than what they did last night.

Though I wanted Tony Soprano to get blasted, I thought the ending was brilliant! It leaves open the potential for future projects as well as tons of room for the viewing audience's imagination to create its own ending. Just as I was disappointed to see Sex and the City go, I'm equally disappointed that The Sopranos series has ended. |
