Copied from conservative website: Why “racism” is based on false science BY Al Calloway Al_Calloway@Verizon. In this column, I have previously stated with certainty that there is but one race among mankind, and that is the Human Race. The race card was invented and played by white plantation owner scientists, physicians and politicians to justify slavery in all its manifestations. Race, and therefore “racism,” is but a notion that is based on false or pseudo science. White nationalists-white people that are erroneously labeled “racists” because they work to advance their tradition, culture, political and economic advantage-are actually trying to keep their recessive genetic traits from dying out. (There are few, if any, human groups on Earth with which white people have not mated, and not done so in substantial numbers.) Racism cannot be proved, nor can we deny what does not exist. Discrimination, therefore, has everything to do with white nationalism, not so-called racism. In the 18th Century as the Trans-Atlantic African Slave Trade began enjoying rapid growth, the term race came into use to describe biologically different types of human beings. Through slavery, these distinctions became economically important to the plantocracy-plantation owners, shippers, investors, politicians, et al. Scientists who classified and studied humans as different groups way before the advent of anthropology were called ethnologists. These scientists applied the natural science method of classifying and categorizing to the study of man, which is called taxonomy. This is very important because the most famous among them was Carolus Linnaeus. Remember the Linnaeus Doctrine of dominant and recessive traits in plants that you learned in grade school earth science? That’s the man. What you probably don’t know about Linnaeus, and what your children or grandchildren in public school don’t know either, is that he theorized that black people evolved separately, on a different track from white people. In 1735, Linnaeus wrote that blacks were ruled by an unaccountable change of mind (he used the word “caprice”). Linnaeus also wrote that Native Americans were “ruled by superstition,” Asians were “ruled by ritual,” and whites were “ruled by intelligence.” During the late 1830s, the American school of ethnologists, led by physician-scientists Josiah Clark Nott, Samuel George Morton, Louis Agassiz, and George Robin Gliddon, said that nothing could make the black man equal to the white man. Other theorists advanced that blacks were, among other things, physically inferior and hypersexual. Still others compared blacks to beasts. Another justification for slavery was the theory that blacks could not take care of themselves because they could not act as adults. Some researchers call these pseudo-scientific apologists of slavery “scientific racists.” But the reality is that they were all making money off the backs of black people to further the development of Western Civilization for their people. One must never forget that George Washington, the first president of these United States of America, was a slave holder. And Thomas Jefferson, this nation’s third president, revered for the creation of “Jeffersonian Democracy,” was also a slave master, and the father of a slave child. Jefferson once said: “I consider a slave woman who breeds once every two years as profitable as the best worker on the farm.” White nationalist pseudo-scientists also theorized that anything different from that of white people meant that it was inferior and they documented what they called black flaws in medical journals and text books. George Morton’s 1839 book, Crania Americana, was all about skull sizes and so-called racial types. He, of course, concluded that white people had the largest skulls and therefore more brains and black people had the smallest brains. In 1848, Samuel A. Cartwright, M.D., a renowned Louisiana physician, was taken very seriously by the so-called scientific community when he stated that blacks had a different breathing apparatus and skeletal structure. Three years later, Cartwright was at it again. This time, he came up with a lot of so-called black diseases that seemed to be caused by a dislike of slavery. Hebetude was laziness in slaves that caused them to abuse property belonging to the plantation owner. Drapetomania caused slaves to not want to escape, which would be normal behavior. Dysthesia Aethiopica caused slaves to destroy slave owners’ property. The list goes on with more crazy stuff, but it was all too real in antebellum America. So-called “racism” is based on false science. African Americans will have to focus on white nationalism in order to see America, and the world, clearly. Pictures above is Al Calloway. It is naive to think that mere reason or science will banish racism. Racists know they are being ignorant. They WANT to be ignorant. Everybody wants to hate and look down on somebody. Look at how people on this list look down on other blacks. Nice try, but no cigar. |

Chris, I agree. That's why I laugh at all these debates and arguments about whether or not 'race' exist. As if most White foks know, much less give a dayam, about what some egghead, ivory tower-type theorizes about the subject when they've got some nig.gers moving next door to'em. |

I don't think the purpose of this article was to exonerate racism. Calling racism "nationalism" didn't sanitize racism, it just fine-tuned the concept of white supremacy. |
