Woo-hoo!!! Happy B'Day, Prince! And thanks, girl! BTW, he'll be back here in his hometown next month to launch his "scent." He's performing on the 7th ("all seven": 7/07/07--cute, right LOL). If I end up going I'll post a review. |

If I'm not mistaken, Sir Prince is going to be 50 next year. He is ageless, and gets better with time. I'm listening to "Call Me" right now. some they think of the moon as though it has no flaws but to compare it to a beauty like yours would give one pause Go 'head wit' yo' bad self, Mr. Nelson! |

I saw my first Price concert in March at his club in Vegas. He came off the stage and went through the audience (well at least the part where folks had tables). I patted him on the back as he went by... It was one of the best conerts I saw in a while. He had one of the tightest bands I'be hear in a long time. The sound system was great and he had a pair of honey on stage that were electrying. Sheila E. got down too. Mzuri, I stop short of calling him the King of Funk. I can think of several dudes I'd put in front of him. But he may be "King of the Live Performance". Though he has little competition nowadays...

Thanks for sharing. Yes, Prince is ageless and timeless. He's a little older than me, so whenever I start thinking I'm old, I just remind myself that I'm younger than Prince, so I can't possibly be old

Hi Mr. Troy Actually, JOHNNY GUITAR WATSON is the TRUE KING OF FUNK. I was trying to cover all the different types of music that PRINCE excels in, which is a little bit of everything! In light of the fact that it was a SACRED DAY!

Prince is right up there with the best, but I'm reminded of waaaaaay back in the early 80s, when he first put together "The Time", a group which included the legendary Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Jesse Johnson among others, and which was fronted by Morris Day and his "valet" Jerome, and this group became Prince's opening act. They were sooo hot and funky that Prince had to scale black their stage time because they were giving his act a run for its money. The members of this group always joked that Prince really wanted to be in the Time, himself, and that he and Morris Day had, in fact, performed all of the songs and played all of the instruments for The Time's first album before the group was ever assembled and given a name. The Time never achieved its past glory after it broke up and later regrouped with different side men. Just a little bit of trivia from the pop culture vulture. |

Oh yeah, Justin Timberfakeashell, if you happen to read thumpers - this is what sexy is all about. Not your contrived image that only appeals to deluded people who think your smirk is cute. (I am saying this because he tried to come back at Prince when he said 'sexy is now back' at the superbowl). |

LOL @ Mzuri. You know, I can never bring myself to try perfumes with celebs' names on them. I am always reminded of that scene in Boomerang where Grace Jones is complaining about the perfume's smell they are developing under her name by removing her underpants and explaining that *that's* what she wants it to smell like! (Then of course, the classic part where old boy takes a big sniff before pocketing the underwear for later use. LOL!)

Y - That's my favorite scene in Boomerang when Grace J wraps her thongies around the perfumers head Anyway, I was in the perfume business (sold perfumes at eBay) for a couple of years before I moved up to big ticket items. I specialized in discontinued, hard-to-find and off the market fragrances. And I had a real passion for perfumes - even before I became a dealer - reading books, researching flowers/spices, etc. I don't know every detail about the business but usually a major perfume lab http://www.iff.com concocts the formula (kind of like in Boomerang), and there are chemists called "noses" who create and sniff out the combinations. Based on which notes are requested - roses, citrus, tobacco, chocolate - they create several different formulas and then the client selects their favorite. And if you have a really discerning person (such as Elizabeth Taylor for instance) - you can get really fabulous top-of-the-line perfumes. Also, if you keep tabs on who uses what (Madonna likes Fracas) you can find the best of the best that way too. I think that PRINCE fragrance products will be among the best in the world because he's so particular and and he would only want to use the finest quality ingredients. Of course the stuff will be pricey but I can get it wholesale (I hope)

F*ck Prince that little Colorstruck, skin-bleach addicted, 3ft tall, moderately talented, spandex wearing freak. But I should have known that her little transvestite roommate Manzuri would have started this thread. |

Well you see Sissie, it's like this. Even if PRINCE were three feet tall, he'd still be taller than YOU - by a MILE. And another thing: PRINCE actually has a penis, which is more than can be said for you since you lost your pencil dick up GAMESHOW'S ass. Now eat shit a die beotch.
