First of all, I hope this doesn't turn into a freepost because I really do have some valid questions and forgive me if these questions posed have already been addressed.
1. Why do you come to a message board that Kola has decided to no longer post at to update the board with any news about her or from her? Kola has made her email address readily available and those who are interested in knowing her status can freely email her.
2. Who exactly are YOU to Kola? You seem obsessed with her. I know you were her publisher and perhaps a friend but damn, are you on her payroll?
3. I checked out Door of Kush website. I noticed that it is a 50megs spot. I also noticed that besides two other folks (and I believe one is Chris Hayden) you are only promoting Kola. I apologize if this is NOT correct but can you list other authors and books you are promoting?
4. Is Nafisa Goma your real name? What nationality are you?
Now Nafisa, I know you are under NO obligation to answer squat, lol. But since you are on here now posting more than ANYTIME in my tenure here since Kola has left the board I am curious about you and what your motives are.
People believe you are Kola Boof and no disrespect, I can see why they believe this. Don't get me wrong, Kola fascinates me and I have NOTHING against her however it is suspect that a woman who basically told the board to kiss her entire azz (after the banning, after feeling like Troy was not supporting her, after all the Mzuri/Cynique/Shakes battles) that YOU would come on here and post news about her. I mean, why the fuk would Kola give a shyt about updating anyone on this mofo about HER? According to Troy, she has decided not to post here. So, what is the point? The board is not about Kola. Now she made it fun as hell but it's not about Kola so why do you WANT to make it about her?
What's going on with you? Does she know just how much YOU font her name on this board? BTW, it doesn't matter what was posted about hiakus, shyt-poos, whatever. She is not on this board anymore so why would she give one iota of a fuk what these folks are fonting about her and why would you give a fuk? Is this board and intregal part of her existance to YOU that you come on here posting shyt about her damn feet? Hell, this is the same woman who is called a farce everyday by someone but THIS board is what matters? OKAY......

This is a public message board visited daily by thousands of "book buyers". In case you haven't noticed, Kola Boof is currently #3 on THIS SITE'S Non-Fiction Bestseller list.
For many years, Ms. Boof has been a fixture on this board.
Many people who don't keep up with Kola elsewhere, expect to find information and updates about her somewhere on THIS board. Many important agents, writers and editors in the book industry surf these pages--Kola has been booked on television shows from people looking for her on these boards.
I've known Kola more than 10 years.
I'm the Senior Editor at Door of Kush and edited most of her books. We're the "godmothers" to each others children and helped each other through pregnancies, men, etc. I'm leaving the country soon, but we're like sisters.
Kola no longer wants to post here, because she's not welcome or liked.
Therefore she ASKS ME to post information on this board, and as her friend, I see no reason not to. I'm a member just like you are.
Kola emails me or hits me on my cell phone with things to post. It's called PR and it gets results.
We don't work 9 to 5 jobs like you do, we have all day to do pretty much what we want and I'm on the internet anyway.
Most of the posts, ie. Kanye West, are not for you or the regular posters here, they're aimed at "book lurkers".
Kola has always been successful and "smarter than most" by having interesting little stories and photos surrounding her book releases and she sells a lot of copies over long periods of time from those posts.
People read these posts for months and months.
Does that make BUSINESS sense?

web site as well in her books, telev.radio interviews and personal appearances. She's given Mr. Johnson box loads of "autographed" Free books

She has like...5 or 6 different websites and again...HER EMAIL ADDY IS READILY AVAILABLE. Note: I never said that AALBC wouldn't exist without Kola Boof, and she certainly doesn't feel that way.
What I said is that she and Mr. Johnson have had a lucrative and casual arrangement over the years. He is partly responsible for making Ms. Boof famous and she has drawn loads of attention to his site.
I happen to know that until a few weeks ago, you couldn't say a bad word about Mr. Johnson around Kola. To her, he was her baby brother. She loved him.

I agree with Nafisha that this board becmes search engine that means these threads are web pages so it generates big results for kola or if you search Oprah Winfrey then whoevers on a thread with her will come up as a search result.
