What is the main cause of so many fatherless children in the Black community and the high rate of AIDS among Black women?
Is it the alleged "jiveness" of the AVERAGE Black man, or is it the famous addiction too many Black women have for the Black knucklehead MINORITY ("He's SO exciting.")?
Consider this simple mathematical excercise, and consider the fact that a small number of JIVE knuckleheads are responsible for MOST of the "fatherless" children found in the Black community.
A surprising majority of "good" Black women are programmed (by white media, ignorant rap videos, and their own low self-esteem)to flock to the beds of JIVE knuckleheads.
I other words, you get one woman who makes the choice to have sex with (and have children by) multiple partners. And she often chooses her temporary, baby-making mate from the same tiny pool of JIVE knuckleheads. This tiny pool of knuckleheads are responsible for the vast majority of the children born out of wedlock in the Black community.
For example, you can easily find knuckleheads on the corner of any Black community. Any one of these knuckleheads will have had 4-5 kids out of wedlock: NONE of whom they are helping to raise.
So you can get a list of any 5 knuckleheads who, between them, are responsible for bringing as many as 25 kids into the world. Turn that number into 10 knuckleheads and you have 10 fools who are responsible for fathering as many as 50 kids!!
Now turn that number of knuckleheads into 50 fools, and you now have as many as 250 out of wedlock children. These JIVE knuckleheads get all of the "action" and produce all of these kids because Black women think they "are SO cool."
A single inner-city neighborhood may have a population 10,000 people and it is a TINY MIORITY of that 10,000 that you see hanging on the corner on any given day: And these are the "cool fools" that many Black girls flock to.
You can clearly see how the Black woman's addiction to dating this tiny minority of knuckleheads ("They are SO much more exciting.")has created much of the social upheaval currently being experienced in many Black communities.
Now think about it: Who is REALLY responsible for the high rate of AIDS among Black women?
Is it the relatively rare "down low" gay dude, who besides from his "gayness," is living a relatively conservative life? Or is it really the street corner JIVE knucklehead who is going in and out of jail, having sex with men while in jail, shooting drugs, fucking skanks left and right, insisting on sex without condoms, and producing multiple babies out of wedlock?
You be the judge.
Solution: Teach your daughters to avoid the streetcorner knucklehead and expand the use of contraception. Next, teach your daughters to value intellectualism over materialism, straightlaced over "cool," and substance over style. Finally, teach your daughters to RESPECT the positive brother, because the positive brother has grown allergic to Black women who prize knuckleheads while looking at the positive brother with distain. Ask them: what would you rather have, a knucklehead who knows how to dance, or a brother who knows how to WORK? |

So what are you going to tell the knuckleheads.
Obviously they are real good at getting in the pants of the young women--and the young women are wanting somebody to get in their pants.
By the way, it appears that at least in the case of teenagers these knucklheads are older--in their twenties on up--so they ain't knuckleheads but more experienced and predatory.
So you are just going to let them off the hook? You are not going to tell them anything?
As usual. Negroes go into half measures.
I shall reiterate
You can't do a damn thing sitting on here posting to some people who are not part of this "problem". You are not going to go out there and talk to them, you are playing with yourself.
The best you can do is to try to keep your own knucklhead and knuckleheadess from becoming statistics. If everybody would try that rather than try to prescribe some behavior (while drugging and raping young women and tripping on their wives with white women, like Bill Cosby) maybe we can do something.
This guy had a knucklehead son and a dope head daughter and everybody wants to listen to him.

Women hold ALL of the cards:
1) Women decide whose advances they will respond to.
2) Women decide who they will talk to.
3) Women decide who they will give their number to.
4) Women decide who they will invite to their homes.
5) Women decide who get's to stay the night.
6) Women decide who they will have sex with.
7) Women decide (or have the power to decide) whether they will insist on safe sex or not.
8) Women decide (or have the power to decide) who they will get pregnant by.
9) Women decide whether they will carry the bady to term.
10) Women decide whether they will raise the child or put it up for adoption.
To wit, women hold all of the cards in this situation-- and she can choose the exercise the power that she holds in her hands.
Therefore, the way to go is to teach young women to take FULL responsibility for their OWN bodies and the decisions that they make in life. This makes a woman POWERFUL instead of a powerless VICTIM that YOU would prefer them to continue to be.
Women should not share this power with knuckleheads but only positive brothers.
In other words, 2 plus 2 adds up to 4 you stupid muthafucka!!
Teach your daughters about the power they have and the danger of sacrificing that power to the knucklehead, whose only power lies between his legs.
Until fools like you stop whining and start applying solutions (instead of attacking the solutions offered by others), 'Negroes' like YOU will in fact be DOOMED!
Try to come up with an original idea, why don't cha?

He is also known as the gangster lover, the thug lover, the pimpin player, the baller, the hip hopper, the wannabe rapper and numerous other fantabulous and exciting sounding things. What continues to occur in the black community is such a hopeless situation. And so much of it can be traced to the dead-end cycle of babies indiscriminately having babies and all of the ensuing problem that result from this as Nuuon has stated. The solution does seem to lie with the females of the species and it's enough to make you want to say the unsayable, broach what's taboo and advocate that all newborn girls be vaccinated at birth with a reversable serum that would make them sterile until which time they can meet certain criteria for parenthood. A concerted effort to encourage contraceptics to minimize STDs among the sexually-active should also go hand-and-hand with this. Celibacy would be the ideal solution but it doesn't work in the arena of raging hormones. Of course all of this is fraught with the "Big Brother is watching you" syndrome. But the terrible situation which now exists calls for drastic solutions. Yes, I know. It's easy to give advice. |

There are just as many men with differnt baby mothers as there are women. Matter of fact, there is a guy I know who has 11 different kids by 11 different women. He recently moved out of state to try to escape child support. It goes both ways.
It's easy for a man to hide the fact that he has so many damn kids. Sometimes you don't know that a man has any until he tells you much later on in the relationship. |

If females were vaccinated at birth with a reversable serum that would render them sterile until they met the criteria for parenthood then they wouldn't get pregnant accidentally or any other way until such time as their fertility was restored. This the is the hypothetical situation I described to prevent indiscriminate pregnancies, a remedy which I acknowledged as being considered taboo, but practical. |

Booty - Men possess the ability to have several different women pregnant at once. Human women generally gestate only one child at a time. Therefore your analogy that women can have just as many different multiple parental partners as men is flawed. Further, women tend to actually know when they've given birth to a child, whereas men don't necessarily know who they've impregnated and/or who all has given birth to their offsprings. It's common sense. Get it?

I wish people would get their priorities straight and worry about getting themselves together, instead of running around chasing after sexual partners. Especially when neither one has anything to offer the other (except for sexual gratification). Some of these folks can't even give each other sound advice

Booty - Birth control is mostly a woman's responsibility since she's the one who actually carries the child. Number one - we have approx fifteen different methods of birth control available to us - pills, foam, suppositories, diaphragms, I.U.D.s, patches, implants, condoms, etc. If a woman has an unplanned pregancy these days, it's no one's fault but her own (barring rape). And of course not many of these birth control methods are available if the women NEVER seek medical care.

Nuuon, that was a great article. That's what I've been thinking all along. AIDS has been passed along more by straight men who jump from one woman to another NEVER wearing a condom.
I wouldn't touch a man like Kevin Federline if he had a 10 foot dyck. If he's too stupid and cheap to buy a condom, he can move on. Women should use birth control, but she should also date men who are responsible enough to protect themselves. |

So, it not what we tell our daughters, its what do we tell other folks daughters, for even if out daughter got with a knucklehead, she and the child would still be in a better position than one w/o a support system.

Brownbimbo is such a dumbass. These women, as Nuuon put it, CHOSE to be with men who are assholes. Us ordinary, normal black guys aren't seen as "exciting" or "glamorous" to many black women, and actually it's been getting worse since the late seventies. (This problem is VERY old.) Many young black women deliberately chose the macho thugs, jocks, hard-boiled hustling types over us, and expectedly they get burned(cheatings, beatings, knifings, insults, unwanted children, even murder). Some of these silly women even write novels about it(aka Alice Walker). Why these women don't just stay away from these monsters is actually rather puzzling. Maybe it's because they appear to be the only black men in the country who have any real power--even if that power is fake. |

It goes both ways. Boys/Men generally do not appreciate "square" girls/women either (even boys/men who themselves are square). In fact, while nerdy men often become more appealing with age, nerdy older Black women are often still not seen as desireable. |

That women should be expected to carry the full burden of birth control is a grossly outdated notion. Maybe if we would begin making BOTH Equally responsible, we could begin to see a decline in babies having babies and aids cases multiplying like popcorn in our communities. Let's not forget as one poster mentioned, it's the ex con jobless fools in their twenties, and sometimes even thirties hanging around middle schools and high schools, picking up babies and getting inside their heads that are doing a lot of this aids spreading babymaking shit.
Men should be told to use the birth control available to them, should be taught to encourage their mates to use birth control instead of being given a free pass to screw 'em and leave 'em.
Not to mention the sad but still true fact that most of these young women are looking for love, settling for sex, and most of the time are the ones on the giving end of the pleasure, not the receiving end, as most of these street punks have not one clue on how to make love.

You're absolutely right about that one. And no, I don't think that 30 something men should be educating 18 year olds about the glories of lovemaking---I just meant that making love and screwing are two entirely different things and if a young person is going to have sex they truly need to know that there is a difference, whether being taught, through mentoring programs with women who aren't afraid to have frank, honest discussions, or even being honest with our peers about the sexual experiences we have.
Look, no young women wants to tell another that her experience was sorely lacking--that it wasn't all shining stars and rockets for her. But instead of telling the truth we just fuel each others curiosity with fables..."Girrrrrrrrrrrl don't you know he rocked my world. And it was sooooooooooo good!!!" No man is that good every single time, I don't care if he is a good lover. It should be pretty obvious by now that lecturing and preaching and prating about what "should be done" doesn't work. As Mzuri previously reminded, a male can be a "serial" impregnator, going about his crimes every day. But pregnancy for a female can only occur once every 9 months and when an infant arrives, SHE is who is left with the burden of raising the child. So it behooves her to be the one to make sure her body is not a baby factory because her baby daddy does not have to pay the consequences for his "promiscuity". There is a contraceptic shot now for females which can be administered every 3 months, an option that can help to stem the problem of accidental pregnancies. What remains is the almost impossible task of getting inside a young girl's head in order to convince her that voluntarily having a baby is not to her advantage. |

A-Woman - There's nothing outdated about the notion that birth control is a woman's responsibility. The woman owns the womb and is usually stuck with the offspring, and the man can simply walk away at any moment. Those are the facts. So yes - it would be nice if men would be more responsible until they are ready to care for children, the truth is that when they have pussy on the brain it's not much of a concern.
If you believe that most men are going to stop the mating process to discuss or practice birth control, let me assure you that it just does not happen that way. Some men will insist on using protection (condoms) however most will not, as evidenced by the continuing growth of out-of-wedlock/unplanned/unwanted pregnancies.
Women who are waiting for their man to show up with condoms will be waiting for a long time. Women should keep condoms available and not rely on a man to provide those, as well as utilizing the numerous birth control methods that I stated above, until she's ready to have a child that she fully comprehends is not a play doll.
Perhaps you recall the movie "Booty Call" where Vivica Fox and Tamala Jones invited Jamie Foxx and Tommy Davidson over to do the nasty, and none of the women had condoms so the men went out to buy some - getting involved in several unfortunate episodes along the way. Ideally, the women should have had some condoms already, which wouldn't have been as funny - but sadly this is the way it is in real life. Women aren't buying rubbers.

I'm not saying that women wouldn't be smart to exercise birth control,(having rubbers on hand) What I'm saying is we need to quit giving men a free pass, by telling them bc ain't on your mind so that's okay, let the women worry about it.
I'm saying we should not continue to reinforce this type of thinking. Men SHOULD be just as responsible or even more responsible since as you pointed out, they can make ten or twenty babies while a women is carrying one.
And not just to prevent pregnancies, but to prevent the spread of AIDS as well. |

AW - I agree. And in a perfect world all that you stated would really happen. But men are men. I certainly don't want to put them all into one bag, but most men are irresponsible about many things, not just their sexual behavior. So yes, again, men should do and be better, but the reality is that they're not. Ricky Lackey has six children on the way.
Don't call them sextuplets - they're each with different women.
When Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Melba Marsh asked Lackey during sentencing Friday on a charge of attempted theft how many children he had, the 25-year-old said, "None, but I have six on the way."
A stunned Marsh tried to clarify. "Are you marrying a woman with six children?" she asked.
"No, I be concubining," he said.
Prosecutors said Lackey is the expectant father of six children with six different women. The women all are expected to deliver in August, September and October.
Lackey's lawyer, Stephen Wenke, stopped his client from saying more.
Marsh said she wasn't sure how to respond, so she let the issue drop since it wasn't relevant to the proceedings.
Lackey, a music producer who told Marsh he was on the cusp of a $2 million deal that would net him $300,000 upfront, was convicted Friday on a reduced charge of attempted theft.
Prosecutors say the Avondale man defrauded U.S. Bank out of $3,975 by depositing empty envelopes into ATM machines, claiming they contained cash, and depositing bad checks before withdrawing cash on the falsely inflated balances.
Lackey has repaid the money, according to court records.
Marsh ordered no other sentence, because restitution had been paid.
As Lackey left the courtroom, a group of teenage girls there for another case appeared to know Lackey.
"Oh, there's Ricky Lackey!" one swooned.
Lackey shrugged the attention off with one word and a wave of his hand.
"Fans," he said.

Not being negative. Just wondering how would the mind of young women process and respond to what you describe.
It seem to me that since it's more difficult females to achieve sexual gratification than males, young woman is faced with 1 of 3 very sobering prospects as she becomes sexually active:
A) Having thoroughly UNSATISFYING sexual experiences with a boy who as inexperienced as she, thus do NOT know WTF he's doing with her.
B) Having a satisfying sexual experience with a boy who DOES know what he's doing because he's screwed lots of other girls, thus is more likely to have babies, STD's and be able to dyckwhip and then rudely, painfully dump her when she's no longer of interests to him.
C) Having a satisfying sexual experience with an adult man with whom she probably has no business being with with, either as a matter of a lack of maturity/experience if not of violation of law. And the man is also much more likely to have babies, STD's and dyckwhip then dump her. Oh. And dude might also have a WIFE. |

I certainly don't want to put them all into one bag, but most men are irresponsible about many things, not just their sexual behavior. So yes, again, men should do and be better, but the reality is that they're not. And so in the meanwhile, women have to take charge, as women have always done - since we are the stronger and smarter of the species.

Ricky Lackey has six children on the way.
Don't call them sextuplets - they're each with different women.
When Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Melba Marsh asked Lackey during sentencing Friday on a charge of attempted theft how many children he had, the 25-year-old said, "None, but I have six on the way."
A stunned Marsh tried to clarify. "Are you marrying a woman with six children?" she asked.
"No, I be concubining," he said.
Prosecutors said Lackey is the expectant father of six children with six different women. The women all are expected to deliver in August, September and October.
Lackey's lawyer, Stephen Wenke, stopped his client from saying more.
Marsh said she wasn't sure how to respond, so she let the issue drop since it wasn't relevant to the proceedings.
Lackey, a music producer who told Marsh he was on the cusp of a $2 million deal that would net him $300,000 upfront, was convicted Friday on a reduced charge of attempted theft.
Prosecutors say the Avondale man defrauded U.S. Bank out of $3,975 by depositing empty envelopes into ATM machines, claiming they contained cash, and depositing bad checks before withdrawing cash on the falsely inflated balances.
Lackey has repaid the money, according to court records.
Marsh ordered no other sentence, because restitution had been paid.
As Lackey left the courtroom, a group of teenage girls there for another case appeared to know Lackey.
"Oh, there's Ricky Lackey!" one swooned.
Lackey shrugged the attention off with one word and a wave of his hand.
"Fans," he said.

From what I have surveyed, although "jive" is not a slang word favored by the hip-hop generation, it is a word they know the implications of. And just because "jive" is an old-school term does not diminish its legitimacy. Hip-hoppers may think they dictate the lingo of the day, but that's only among their own kind, and their kind has done nothing impressive enough to usurp the old-school slang used by a sizeable portion of the black population. Yukio - I posted the link to demonstrate that the word is still in use. It originated in the 1920's, just like many other words in use today such as hip, cool, groovy and others that are perceived as new (or old). If you're not using jive it's because you just aren't hip.

Well, you do seem unfamiliar with the word "jive", Yukio. LOL. Because in its current usuage it usually means "bogus" or "BS", so it is not a stagnant word but has changed with the times. And the fact that it is old in origin is beside the point,- isn't it? The English language is old, but how else would we communicate without it? It has been my observation that when I use the term "jive-ass" in the presence of younger folks, it does not phase them in the least. They understand what I mean and they never give my choice of words a second thought. Or am I ever flummoxed by their lingo. Language can be organic as well as abstract. |

I'm still trying to figure out what "old" has to do with whether or not a word is viable, especially since "old" can be interchanged with "classic" and classic always trumps a novelty. Aretha Franklin is old. Billy Dee Williams is old. Dr. J is old. Colin Powell is old. And they have all stood the test of time. Schakspir, you came into this thread, instigating drama by calling me out of my name. I said nothing to you or about you.
Just about any response I have towards you is usually after you've irritated me with your constant "NafisaGoma/PrettyBabyGirl/BrownBeauty123" irritating remarks..that s/hit gets annoying.
Troy the board moderator has already stated that he has no reason to believe that any other poster here has more than one identity. He informed regulars to STOP making multiple identity accusations on other posters b/c you have no proof..so if the board moderator thinks that everyone here is who they say they are...then who in the f/uck are you to say they aren't??
You really need to let that s/hit go. Stop talking about Kola all the damn time. Even when you are not on Thumper's corner, you are over there in your blog discussing Kola on your own free will...what a psycho |

I didn't need your permission. Anybody can have access to your pictures. I didn't have to hack into your computer, decipher some code, or figure out a password to get to them..it's there for anybody to see and view. Ppl do it all the time on msg boards, post pics of members from myspace and rate whether they are hot or not--there's no penalty for that. |
