22 Feb. 2007 (Sawf News) - Nick Cannon married Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks in Las Vegas last weekend after just three weeks of dating. The couple made a public appearance at the 6th Annual GM Ten Fashion Show. According to an Us magazine report the pair was staying at Palms Casino Resort Hotel for NBA All-Star Weekend. Cannon, 26, and Ebanks, 24, met at a Super Bowl weekend party in Miami (04 Feb. 07) and were inseparable since then. Cannon had earlier dated Grammy nominated singer and actress Christina Milian, but their relationship ended, allegedly, after she discovered secret phone messages from another woman, Kelsey Becker. He briefly dated Paris Hilton's close friend Kim Kardashian but the two split this January. At one point, he was rumored to be dating Lindsay Lohan. Cannon's publicist, Tracy Nguyen, declined to comment on the wedding. A source told Us magazine, "The weird thing is when he and Kim Kardashian dated, he said he didn't believe in monogamy!" Cannon and Ebanks are said to be planning a wedding reception party in L.A. this weekend. Cannon is the producer and host of MTV's improv comedy show Wild 'N Out which debuted in 2005 and ended in Oct 2006 after completing three seasons. A new sketch comedy show created by Cannon, called Short Circitz will debut in 2007. Ebanks, British-American supermodel, made her major debut in Victoria's Secret fashion shows and is now officially one of Victoria's Secret angels. She has also modeled for Ralph Lauren, Levi's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger, and Clinique. News Copyright © Sawf News. She's a born and bred Caymanian, even though we are owned by Britain we are proud Caymanians and don't want people looking at her thinking she's from the midst of London and not this beautiful sunny caribbean island that she calls home. Cindy, 23 Feb 2007 Big up Big up that Cayman turtle meet got him hook. Nuf Love From Ya To Dea... Gomez, William, 23 Feb 2007 Hi There, In every interview that I have seen of Selita thus far, she has proudly admitted that she was born in the CAYMAN ISLANDS, and lived in the USA. I think this would make her a Caymanian-American. Anyhow, all the best to you in your new marraige, from one Caymanian to another. ~Cryss~, 23 Feb 2007 The Cayman Islands is under British Power, and therefore Caymanians can call themselves British should they wish (they do after all have British passports – and if they have a Caymanian British passport they can exchange it for a full British passport with no problems). I wish Selita and her new hubby the best of luck. Rebecca Smalldon – proud to be a British Caymanian Becca Smalldon, 23 Feb 2007 "BIG IT UP" Selita, you go girl, hold unto your man, and show all the rest that we Caymanian women are real and true lovers as well. Congrats to you both, bring him home soon, and let him feel the Sun, Sand and Sea of our heritage. Respect, Gloria Gloria, 23 Feb 2007 Congrats Selita on your Marriage and we hope all goes well. Yes, we agree Selita is 100% Caymanian and NOT British- American as stated, and we are even prouder to say from the heart of George Town on Walkers Road "OUR NEIGHBOUR" for Life! David And Chris Wight, 23 Feb 2007 Congrats to Selita, our Caymanian girl. We are proud of our Walkers Road next door neighbour, and hope she is happy in her success & marriage. You have made Cayman (not Britain) PROUD! Chris & David, 23 Feb 2007 Oh please people. Check out one of the interview clips on her web site where she claims to be a New Yorker! This girl does not represent for Cayman. She has long moved on and left us behind (unless there's something in it for her). I have yet to see any interview or news clip where we are even mentioned. I was proud of her, now I'm ashamed.
