So, anyway, a big DNA battle looms because there are 2 guys claiming to be the biological father of her infant daughter. I just saw Annna Nicole being interviewed yesterday and she was totally out of it; crying, slurring her words - almost incoherent. What a tragic figure she turned out to be. |

well like it or not, anna nicole smith was a part of "american culture". we all live in america, so its appropriate to bring this topic up on this board.
i think her whole situation is (was) a bit sad.
her son died recently, now she's dead and her baby girl is without her mother, and theres a looming question as to who her father is.
anna nicole smith was not a "top priority" in terms of whats important in the world.
but the demise of any public figure is always compelling to some degree.
also to the person who put up a "smiley face" to show how they feel about the death of a person, i will say-
EVERY time a person dies, no matter if they were the most "evil" or "stupid" or whatever, there is always someone who is in pain over that persons death.
imagine that you lost your mother, sister, aunt whatever, and some STUPID ASS is happy about the death of your loved one.
anna nicole smith had family members, friends, and people who loved her.
is it really appropriate to make "smiley faces" at the death of someone?
i don't think so. |

Even though her death was unexpected, I can't say I'm totally shocked. She lived life very hard. The brand of weight-loss aid that she took, Trimspa, comes in three formulations. My guess is, she took the formulation that contains ephedra. Also, all three formulations of Trimspa contain Bitter Orange --another ingredient that produces a biochemical response similiar to ephedra. Nasty, nasty stuff! It will be very interesting to see what the autopsy reveals. I'm sure it won't be surprising, though.

Oh gosh this is sad. Her poor child lost her mother at too young age (both for mother and baby).
I hope her child is given a lot more stable childhood and adulthood than her mother ever had.

Too bad, too sad. I don't rejoice at any ones demise but I'm not surprised. I could not believe that show she had was actually approved to be shown on television. I watched it one time in stunned disbelief. And it's not rocket science why she married a 90 year old billionaire. But she did what 100's of millions of other women would have done given the opportunity. Her untimely death is unfortunate but as I said, I'm not surprised (drug related).

I know at these moments the mammygenes of lots of Negroes kick in and they can't help themselves. They want to go comfort a dead ho--watch these same people come here belittling live blacks who are making a better life for themselves despite having access to millions and all kinds of media.

I'm not really a fan of Anna Nicole's but I am sorry about the recent events that have plagued her, as well as her untimely death.
She wasn't just a centerfold model. She also was a Guess jeans model and a runway model - especially after she gained weight - she became a plus-sized model.
She was also an actress and appeared in about 10 films, as well as porn flicks, music videos, commercials and countless appearances and interviews.
She also married a billionaire, which was an accomplishment. Even more so since he had one foot in the grave.
I wish I could find me a one-foot-in-the-grave-billionaire. I'd make sure his will was in order and I'd •••• him until he had a heart-attack.

Her daughter was supposedly born addicted to methadone. Her son died from a methadone & anti depressant overdose. She certainly was not a good mother; that's for sure. |

Tonya - Anna Nicole's son was a grown man. Her parental duties to him ceased whenever he became of legal adult age.
There is no evidence that the baby was addicted to methadone, that is hearsay and rumors.
The Broward medical examiner just concluded his press conference and he stated that Anna Nicole's cause of death would not be known until they completed a thorough investigation, but as far as he could tell, there were no undigested pills/medications in Anna Nicole's stomach.
Life is fragile and people die. And until you've raised your own children, you shouldn't judge other people's parental abilities.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's Husband Claims He Fathered Anna Nicole Smith's Baby Girl

The battle over who fathered Anna Nicole Smith's infant daughter took a shocking twist Friday when the husband of Hungarian actress Zsa Zsa Gabor claimed he was the baby's father — not the two other men already wrangling over her paternity.
German native Prince Frederick von Anhalt told The Associated Press that he had a decade-long affair with Smith.
"If you go back from September, she wasn't with one of those guys, she was with me," von Anhalt told the AP on Friday. A source close to Gabor and von Anhalt told FOX News he had no idea why the prince would make such a claim.
The bizarre news came after a judge on Friday refused to order an emergency DNA test on the body of Smith as part of a paternity suit involving the child, but he ordered the body be preserved until a hearing in 10 days, attorneys said.
Two men have been contesting the paternity of 5-month-old Dannielynn, and experts say the custody decision could determine the child's inheritance. Smith's legacy could take years to untangle and could leave the baby girl with millions of dollars or nothing at all.
Larry Birkhead, a former boyfriend of Smith, claims he is the father, though another man, Howard K. Stern, is listed on the birth certificate.
Von Anhalt, Gabor's eighth husband, said he would file a lawsuit if Dannielynn is turned over to Stern or Birkhead. There were conflicting reports Friday on the prince's age — The Associated Press reported he was 59, while the movie Web site IMDB.com listed his date of birth as 1943, making him 63 or 64.
Dannielynn, meanwhile, was being cared for in the Bahamas by the mother of Shane Gibson, the Bahamian immigration minister who is a close friend of Smith's, People magazine reported on its Web site, citing unidentified sources.
Birkhead's attorney Debra Opri requested Friday's hearing to ask the judge to order that DNA be immediately collected from the Smith, who died Thursday in Florida.
"Nothing was granted. Nothing was denied," Opri said after the hearing. "Everything is up in the air right now."
She said another hearing had been set for Feb. 20. The DNA was needed to connect Smith with Dannielynn "so that no one can switch the babies," Opri said.
Opri also asked the judge to take jurisdiction over the child — reported to be in the Bahamas with friends of Smith — until her paternity is established. The judge did not rule on that request.
Stern, Smith's most recent companion, is listed on Dannielynn's birth certificate as her father. If it is determined he is the biological father and if he was legally married to Smith — which has yet to be established — Stern, not Dannielynn, would likely inherit Smith's estate, experts say.
Smith's sister, Donna Hogan, told FOX News that even if Stern is determined to be the baby's father, he isn't fit to care for the child and shouldn't get custody of her.
"It's usually his name on all the drugs," Hogan told FOX.
Ron Rale, an attorney for Smith, decried the push for the test so soon after her death. He said there was no urgency because his client's DNA would be irrelevant in determining who fathered the child.
"It is despicable that we would have an emergency notice and appear right now," Rale said outside court. "Just because my client is a celebrity, doesn't mean you have to appear in court and say, hey, give me your DNA."
Rale said he doesn't dispute that Birkhead has the right to know the child's paternity.
"We're OK with the DNA of the baby. It's going to occur," Rale told reporters. "I think Mr. Birkhead is entitled to that."
Von Anhalt and Gabor have been married for more than 20 years. Gabor, a onetime sex symbol herself and star of such 1950s films as "Moulin Rouge" and "Queen of Outer Space," has been in declining health in recent years and suffered a stroke in 2005. She was partially paralyzed in a car crash in 2002.
Von Anhalt said he and Smith first met in the 1990s when Smith was still married to elderly oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. He said Smith approached him and Gabor at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
"She was a very big fan of Zsa Zsa and wanted to be like Zsa Zsa," he said. "She wanted to be a princess."
Von Anhalt's royal credentials have been the cause of speculation over the years. According to stories in the British press, he was born Robert Lichtenberg, the son of a German policeman, and bought his title after being adopted as an adult by a bankrupt daughter-in-law of the last kaiser.
He said the two started an affair soon after, meeting over the years in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. For much of that time, he said, Smith urged him to make her a princess like his wife.
But short of divorcing the actress, he said the only solution would have been adopting Smith. Von Anhalt said he did consider that and even filled out adoption papers, but Gabor refused to sign them.
He said he never admitted the affair to his wife, but that he's sure she knows. She would sometimes answer the phone when Smith called him, von Anhalt said.
"The next morning my wife would always ask 'Who are you talking to?"' he said. "'Oh Europe.' I always said it was Europe."
Von Anhalt expressed some regret about the affair, saying "Men do things we shouldn't do."
"She was a very sexy woman," he added. "To have an affair with her is the top, you know."
Von Anhalt and Gabor were married in 1986. Some records list him as her ninth husband but one of those marriages was annulled.
If Smith left no will, and if she and Stern weren't married, then the baby's father and child likely would split her assets, according to Christopher Cline, an estate planning lawyer with the firm of Holland and Knight.
"It's a really large legal quagmire," said Cline, who enumerated some of the many questions hanging in the balance.
"I've never seen a case with more moving parts," he said, comparing the legal morass in its complexity with unraveling the estate of billionaire Howard Hughes — albeit with less money involved.
Cline outlined a series of crucial questions that range from the paternity of the child to Smith's country of residency and, most importantly, whether she had a will. If there was a will, Cline said, questions would arise about where it was drafted and signed. If she did not have a will, the laws of her country of residence would apply.
Smith had been living in the Bahamas recently and gave birth to her daughter there in September.
It also wasn't clear how her death affects the lawsuit still pending against the estate of her late husband, J. Howard Marshall II. Experts in Texas, where Smith fought for millions of dollars in inheritance, said the court battles will go on.
"The claims will survive to her estate," said Charles W. "Rocky" Rhodes, a South Texas College of Law professor who has followed the complicated series of lawsuits involving Smith and the family of her dead husband.
"In criminal cases like we had with Ken Lay, where the defendant died, it was over," he said. "But in civil cases where the claim is for money, your estate and the heirs you have from the estate are able to continue the litigation in the name of the representatives of the estate."
E. Pierce Marshall, her late husband's son who had been fighting her over his father's estate, died in June. But the Marshall family vowed to continue the fight.
Family lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan of Los Angeles, who has handled many celebrity paternity cases, said he believes Stern initially will receive custody of the child because he is listed on the birth certificate.
"The paternity test should be expedited," he said, "because if he is not the bio dad he has no rights to custody. But I predict there will be a will saying that Howard K. Stern is the father."
Another complication could arise if Stern was the lawyer who drew up the will and may be listed as the executor, he added.
"By law, he can't be both the executor and the beneficiary," Kaplan said.
The Smith saga has been filled with so many deaths, Kaplan said, that lawyers are beginning to talk about a curse on the litigation. Just five months ago, Smith's 20-year-old son Daniel died suddenly in the Bahamas in what was believed to be a drug-related death.

Me and my wife were big fans of hers, though, obviously for quite different reasons.
My wife found something about Anna to be sweet and endearing. I found something about Anna to profoundly dyckable.
Isn't it great when foks can share common interests in a marriage?
I think Anna Nicole used to bone some brotha back in her day. Saw'em hugged up on a photograph some where. Nikka needs to tell THAT story to King magazine or something. |

Anna Nicole Smith's death became even more bizarre than her life yesterday as a series of bombshell revelations uncovered an ever-growing web of sexual intrigue - including the startling claim that her late billionaire husband may be the father of her infant daughter.
The stunning disclosure comes in a no-holds-barred manuscript written by her half-sister Donna Hogan obtained exclusively by the Daily News.
Hogan alleges that her sister froze the sperm of 90-year-old J. Howard Marshall years ago, and believes she may have used it to become pregnant.
The revelation topped even the unseemly paternity suit that raged in a Los Angeles court less than 24 hours after Smith's death.
The former Playmate's live-in companion and her former boyfriend Larry Birkhead both claim they are the father of baby Dannielynn - the little girl who could inherit up to half of Marshall's $1.6 billion fortune.
They weren't the only ones laying claim to Dannielynn yesterday.
Smith's mother, Vergie Arthur, flew to the Bahamas yesterday to see her grandchild for the first time. The infant had been left with friends in the Bahamas.
And amid all the legal maneuvering, Zsa Zsa Gabor's wacky husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, made the bizarre claim that he fathered Smith's daughter. A publicist for Gabor, 90, said von Anhalt was full of it.
But even the battle to be named the father of Dannielynn was overshadowed by the claims in Donna Hogan's unpublished manuscript.
In the aptly named "Train Wreck" - written with author Stacy Brown - Hogan says: "I wouldn't be shocked at all if it's J. Howard's. She saved his sperm after all and that maybe [sic] her trump card in her fight to get the old man's estate."
Depicting her half-sister as ever calculating, Hogan wrote that Smith was "seeing into the future. ... She takes Howard in to have his sperm tested. When the results show that he is still fertile, she has a quantity of his sperm frozen."
Hogan wrote that when her half-sister announced to the world she was pregnant, she declined to name the father.
"To her family, she hinted that she had used the old man's frozen sperm, and would be giving birth to Howard Marshall's child," the manuscript claims.
Later in the book while discussing the paternity fight, Hogan unleashed one of her many scathing descriptions of her half-sister.
"That's my sister for you. That b---h probably doesn't even know who the father is. Soon she'll probably say it's J. Howard's," Hogan wrote.
Hogan could not be reached for comment yesterday, but in an interview with "Inside Edition" she said, "I don't want people to talk about the crazy stuff. ... I want them to remember her for being full of life."
Nevertheless, Hogan describes a campaign by Smith to marry the aging oil baron and then the cold hearted way she treated her "Paw Paw" after the ring was on her finger.
Hogan, who uses Smith's given name Vickie in the manuscript, wrote that her sister met "Old Man Howard" at a Houston strip club called Gigi's, where Smith worked as a stripper and the wheelchair-bound geriatric was a regular.
"For several weeks, she played hard to get, before agreeing to grant him special favors outside the club," she wrote.
Smith married Marshall in 1994 when she was 26 and he was 89 - over the objections of the oil man's son, E. Pierce Marshall.
After the wedding, however, she treated her husband like a dog.
"She refused to allow him to lie next to her, stating that he would urinate in bed," Hogan he wrote.
Smith tore through Marshall's finances accumulating jewelry, houses, luxury cars while cheating on him "with household servants, girlfriends and married men."
She would leave him for weeks at a time, refuse to return his many phone calls, and when she did spend time with him, Smith was often oblivious to his frailties.
Once, Smith dragged Marshall out to dinner even though he was ill and "left J. Howard in his wheelchair in the rain."
But when Marshall finally had enough, Smith scampered back "to ensure her place as heiress to his fortune."
"Do you miss your rosebuds?" Smith said at one encounter with breasts bared and a tape recorder running, Hogan wrote.
"Train Wreck" states that Marshall "clearly loved Vickie," and that he called her almost daily, calls she generally ignored. She didn't even visit the old man for the last month of his life.
At the end, Marshall had had enough.
"On the night before he died, J. Howard refused Vickie's phone call. He died tired of Vickie," Hogan wrote.
Marshall's death in 1995 set off a court battle for his $1.6 billion estate that continues to this day.
The bitter legal war with Marshall's son lasted a decade, but it immediately became a fierce fight over every little detail of Marshall's life - even his remains.
The son and widow went to court over who got possession of Marshall's ashes and they decided to split the ashes - what Hogan calls a "half-ash settlement."

This is a stretch..but is it possible..Anna..killed herself before this book came out because she knew she wasnt going to win her suit..?I also heard Stern say on an interview that Anna didnt want her mother any where near her or the baby. This is after the mother says in an interview they "were close"..YIKES
