This book compares the threat of the supposed black male rapist to the free pass the white male pedophile gets from the media and the criminal justice system. This book compares the Till trial to the Simpson Trial. This book compares the livid white outrage over affirmative action to the tepid concern over the loss of bread and butter jobs due to illegal immigration. This book makes the case that the biggest threat to white men in America is an educated and employed black man. So therefore it's in white men's best interest to keep black men uneducated, unemployed, and incarcerated. After all, which kind of black man would a white woman be more interested in, and be sexually attracted to. Hispanic men and Asian men are not considered a threat to white men. Only black men are considered a threat. Men are still primitive, so to them it's still about kickin' ass and gettin' laid. Kola made good points. Just when do black men step up and praise black women? I adore my black brothas and relish in their love but rarely do they share the same feelings. Now I am darkskinned and been told pretty. I've been told, "You're pretty...FOR A DARKSKINNED GIRL" (as if being dark should automatically deem me ugly) by black men all the time. They say this like I should feel complimented. I never have, and never will. Most of these men who say this are even darker than me with mothers that are darker than me. I swear, some of the stuff Kola says, she's right on the marker. Those who think she's trippin or whatnot cannot begin to walk in a darkskinned woman's shoes when it comes to shit like this. The last thing I'm going to say about this book is that I've obviously read both Volumes. If you're not sure that it's your cup of tea then visit the website www.whitemencanthump.com . The website only gives a fraction of what's in the 500 pages. But you can easily spend 2 to 3 hours on the website if you visit every page: about the book, about the author, chapter excerpts, H2I, Feedback, Authors Blog***, and the unique terms & definitions. The "interactive page" features 5 or 6 scenerios that are derived from the book and allow your participation. If you check out the chapter excerpts that are directly derived from the listed table of contents you'll see that I'm not doing this book any justice. There's just too much for me to explain and describe. Visit the website and you'll see there's 500 pages of thunder, and the only people who'll be fixated on the black penis, are those who were already maliciously obsssessed with it to begin with. Black people hate being judged by their cover, but are often guilty of it, just like whites. Don't judge this book by it's cover, or you'll truly miss out. p.s. I do plan on reading kola's book this weekend. | ||

ABM, I'm just a fan. I heard him in an interview on WVON AM radio in Chicago with Roland Martin and I was blown away, because he made so much sense. I visited his website, and again, I was blown away. It's the bomb!!! I purchased VOL. I and it was everything I expected and much, much more. I then purchased VOl.II, and once again I was blown away. Trust me, if you just look at the names of the chapters in the table of contents and you'll be stunned. I was traveling in the Chesapeke Bay Area the other day and I heard that Todd Wooten (the author) was going to be on the radio (ocean98)with the bay area's #1 Howard Stern-shock jock-wannabe, and I was late for my meeting because I had to hear the interview. My white female co-worker/good friend and I sat in our rental car and listened to the interview. The host tried to goad him into a confrontation (they expected a Rev. Jesse nursery rhyme or a Rev. Al one liner) and he just systematically and politely shot down every attack, and by the end of the interview they were all laughing, like they'd been friends for years, and everyone said they couldn't wait to read his book. My girlfriend heard him take some Seattle shock jocks to school last week. It's just refreshing to hear someone go out into their world and represent us with class & dignity, and squash the B.S. with logic & reason. He doesn't make excuses for black people, he just points out that everyone has their fair share of f*ck ups, and he does it in interviews the same way he does it in his books. I find that refreshing. How can we as a people not respect that? He's like 2Pac (minus the bitches & hos) with Obama's delivery. I've had the privilege of reading it and hearing it, and I'm truly impressed. I'm proud whenever anyone steps out there represents us well (at any level). That shuts up a lot of the b.s., and in a round-about-way that helps all of us. | ||
