Happy '07, all! If you are male, what do you think about being pregnant? Ladies, what man would you like to see with child? http://www.malepregnancy.com/

Well, you hear women all the time proclaiming, "I can do anything a man can do." So why shouldn't men carry babies and "do anything a woman can do" if that's what turns them on? Personally, I think it's sick and not something a REAL man would want to do. Just as I think a REAL woman wouldn't want to do "anything a man can do." But that's just me... |

To tell the truth a man could not live through pregnancy or childbirth. I'd die before I let somebody get me pregnant. I'm sure I can speak for all the men here when I say if we had to get pregnant, we'd never let anybody with any sort of impregnator within a hundred miles of us. But then this is silly. If we could get pregnant we would be women. Now that we are on the subject, how many women have sex with the idea that they want to swell up, gain 50 pounds, feet and legs swell up, retain water, have something in their bellies kicking and poking when they are trying to sleep, swell up their bellies so they look like some awful freak, then, after nine months of unimaginable hell, spend 24 hours on a table, writhing in pain as they split up the middle and have their insides fall out? Hmmm? |

LOL. No, ABM, so far as I can tell, this is an instance of "performance art." Very well done, but not for real. (Yet... LOL) Enchanted, when I was pregnant myself I did entertain such dreams, but not since so much. One of my favorite Cos Show episodes is the fantasy one where all the men were pregnant. Remember that? Hilarious! |

Men being able to get pregnant would be the ideal solution to the population explosion and all of the other negative ramifications that occur from too many children being born. Lately it is the trendy thing for couples to say that "we" are pregnant once the female conceives. barf. I can see chrishayden now in his rocking chair, nursing his little blessed event. EW |

I seem to remember actor Lou Gossert giving birth in this movie where he was a lizard-looking hermaphrodite alien who was stranded on a planet with an American astronaut. |

1999: MalePregnancy.com (Web Hoax) This website documented the case of Mr. Lee Mingwei, supposedly the first man to bear child. A variety of documentary evidence was provided to allow visitors to track the progress of Mr. Mingwei's pregnancy, but in fact all of the evidence was false. The site was really created as an art project by the conceptual artist Virgil Wong. In fact, it would be theoretically possible for a man to bear a child by means of an ectopic pregnancy (and taking female hormones), but due to the high risks involved, no one has ever attempted such a procedure (though in 2002 Doctor Chen Huanran in Beijing announced he was seeking volunteers

Damn, the things you learn! I've never heard of this. Wow! I've heard of women who have two uteruses (sp?) and carried a baby in each and, because of this condition, can give birth to "twins" born days, weeks, even months apart, but I never heard of twins growing inside of each other. Fascinating. I'm sick. I like shit like this. |

That site has been up for YEARS with the same man, same pic on there. How long is old dude's gestational period? At any rate, a man's body is not made to have babies, lol. The uterus provides a HUGE blood supply and I'm curious what in a man's body could supply that blood volume without endangering him or the lil one? |

Americansista, I just posted that it is a web hoax. But scientists will somebody try to make this a reality. Here is something else, I thought it was the same man but its not: "At first glance, it may look as if Bhagat had given birth. Actually, Mehta had removed the mutated body of Bhagat's twin brother from his stomach. Bhagat, they discovered, had one of the world's most bizarre medical conditions — fetus in fetu" http://abcnews.go.com/Primetime/story?id=2346476&page=1

Fetus in fetu is different. Taht is when one twin aborbs the other and the person is "pregnant" with either a mass with hair, teeth, skin or sometimes more. It doesn't "grow" or get more developed, it is what it is. The closest thing I can think of that would remotely be similar to a male having a child would be like the one that woman in India had...and they called it the "Stone" baby. The baby actually grew outside of her womb and into her abdominal cavity where it died and stayed in her body for about 50 years. She had enough blood supply to support the baby but they baby died. I think she was scared and back then, technology and her 3rd world village would not have known how to save her or the baby. I think the technical term is Lithopedion. Check out this wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone_baby |
