Hi All,
I'm going to be absent for a while.
I just found out today that apparently there's going to be a public showdown between myself and Osama's sister-in-law Carmen Bin Ladin--and there's nothing I can do to stop it, because the WHITE MEDIA and the "Black MALE Media" are really dying to see me get my ass kicked.
Her book came out last year and basically set the stage for her to try and discredit my experiences with her brother-in-law (she only knew him for maybe a weekend to 5 days---I knew him 6 months).
A "brotha" who writes for EUR-web is already sending around an email stating that he can't wait to see "pretty" Carmen whip that bitter man-hating African bitch's ass.
This is very unfortunate, but of course, whatever she can dish out, I can knock it to the floor.
And the sistas in D.C. who used to wear blow pops in their hair know damned well that this chick is NO MATCH for Kola. Thank you my sistas for making me so tough and bitchy--because it comes in handy.
I imagine that others in Osama's family will attempt to get their digs in as well. I really don't know.
But my sons need a lot of attention, and I don't feel like being drained and zapped by the sudden group of Kola haters who've descended on this board to start the stoning process.
I wrote an excellent book. I wrote it from two places---from my heart and at God's feet.
It is MY TRUTH, as honest and raw as I could compose it. And at the same time, it's "art"---and at the same time---it rises up and honors The Black Woman.
I am neither GOD nor perfect, but at the very core of any and everything I do....is sincerity.
Which is why I have the ability to zapp people so deeply. Because all I do is turn what I FEEL....into a "feeling" that they can FEEL.
My goal is always, always for our people.
I love those of you who support me. Some of you I was able to name in my book during Acknowledgements.
I love you and need you so much...and the only reason that I am able to be an artist..is because you inspire me.
Thank you from the inward floors of my heart.
Not just Carmen and the possible other Bin Ladens...but a ton of people from all corners are about to launch massive "JUMPS" on me...and I have to go away and get prepared.
I may feel different in two days and come back. I don't know. But right now, I am very sad, and have to overcome it...so that I can be competent for my sons....and I have to energize myself to deal with great, great criticism and slander.

I'd have to ask, why not? Do you expect her to ambush you in the supermarket or something? There can only be a "showdown" if you agree to participate. You can surely do exactly what you proclaim to be doing here and NOT SHOW UP. Right?
And I'd question, why now? Carmen's book was released in 2004, just weeks after Door of Kush released Flesh and the Devil. She was heavily promoting it at that time (as you were), so why not jump on your bandwagon then if it was going to be an issue? As well, she acknowledges that she met Osama (her EX-brother-in-law), maybe 5 or 6 times, and the extent of her mentioning him in her book amounts to barely a page, substantially less than you've been known to mention your relationship with him. The timing of your pronouncement just seems a tad contrived.
I would wonder, since she and her daughter who recently posed nude for GQ have both maintained their desire to disassociate themselves from that klan, why bring about negative attention by going head to head with you, who's proclaimed him to be the most brilliant man you've ever met? As well, I would think her relating the maltreatment of women in that culture and family in her book would only serve to reinforce some of your contentions rather than refute them. But hey, what the hell do I know! |

I have a girlfriend who works at BLACK ISSUES BOOK REVIEW. She's very fair complexioned.
She said to me, "Kola Boof must be stopped."
I was like--WUH??
These people are going overboard. She says that we don't need any Africans coming over here dividing up black people and trying to put dark skinned blacks on a pedestal.
I myself am lightskinned, but my mother was very dark and raised me by herself, so I identify with my mom and things I saw her go through.
This sister at BIBR says to me, "We need to stick together and lynch that African bitch before this mess gets out of hand."
I laughed and said, "What mess?"
She said, "The Kola movement."
Girrrrrrrrl.
What I think is going on is that these people have gotten "preview" copies of the book and they read Kola's "The Authentic Black Man". I read it last summer when it was only 24 pages (they say the final version of it is 44 pages long). All I can say is Kola more than went for the jugular, but I can't say I read anything that wasn't true.
I fear for Kola. I really do.

The press is going to "quote" Carmen in the media attacking Kola's credibility, which will force Kola to respond. That kind of showdown, I don't think Kola can afford to back down from.
You're so dunce-like for a woman who claims she's a successful writer. I, for one, know that you're not.
You and others like you may do all you can to discredit this woman, but many of us who were "on the fence" about homegirl, are being swayed to her side, because this ugliness is unfair and it's way too dramatic.
I don't believe someone of the stature you claim to be would invest so much energy in posting cheap put downs. Kola wins no matter what you do.

Babygirl: And you have this on what authority? What makes you or Kola think that Carmen even cares? She didn't disparge Kola back in 2004 when she had ample opportunity to. They both had book releases at the same time. What better venue to pit them against each other if not then, most especially if the confrontation could have brought more attention to Carmen's book. Why now? Carmen is yesterday's news. What bearing will her comments have on Kola now and why pray tell when her book was about being a woman in a masochistic society, not about who did or didn't blow her ex-husband's brother.
And if we want to question one's writing accomplishments, lets take a look at yours. You claim to be a "journalist", but you have yet to demonstrate an ounce of intellectual acumen and your attention to detail has been sorely lacking.
Any "journalist" with a nose for news would be asking questions that are far harder than the ones I and others have posed to Kola. As well, for someone who has supposedly substantiated all of Kola's claims, I ask again. Where is that glowing article that refuted the naysayers and doubters? To date, all you've done is spout the same "patented" rhetoric Kola has spouted about herself since day one. Practically verbatim, refusing to supply facts and supporting documentation. Seems a tad trixie, don't you think? And very, Kola-ish, almost as if split personality #99 done got loose again and can't find her way back home.
As for my writing accomplishments, since YOU know so much, then nothing else needs to be said. If you think I plan to bite that pathetic bait and unmask myself, sorry munchkin. You, aren't worth it, and as I've said before, it doesn't matter one way or the other. Personally, I doubt highly that you could get through my writings. Too many words with more than one syllable and NO pictures.
I notice that you keep twisting this to be about race. Dark black vs. light black vs. white vs. green martian people. Let's clarify it for your "journalistic" mind so that you can be better informed, and maybe even get the "details" right. This is regarding statements about an individual's history and background that ring less than true. This is about that same individual being caught in lie after lie and showing not an ounce of remorse for her transgressions, even boasting about having to inflate her own image for promotional purposes. This is about that same individual being unable or unwilling to answer FACTUALLY, questions posed about her statements. Instead she typically spins off into tangents about being hated and being attacked complete with vile language and sophmoric photos, knowing that a host of Kola characters are just standing by to run interference with issues that have no relevance whatsoever. This ISN'T about colorism. It's about CREDIBILITY. But then of course you would need it yourself to understand it.

Kola was releasing a fictional novel and wasn't talking about Bin Laden in any of her interviews. There was no reason for Carmen to comment without looking like a shit starter.
Carmen's book, without naming Kola by name, certainly insinuated that Bin Laden was too "chaste" to keep a mistress.
But Carmen's sales weren't very good anyhoo. She's still trying to get a Paperback deal.
Switch to 2006.
Right now, Kola is about to release a book that talks about Bin Laden in detail. Carmen may not care for old "Osama"--but she does a fair amount of protecting his family and their name. She has a reason now to attack Kola's credibility and I've seen the emails indicating that she intends to.
You continue to accuse me and others of being Kola Boof. This paranoia of yours makes us see your credibility as shot.
You claim that Kola has been caught in lie after lie. I'd like you to list them.
You couldn't do it a few weeks ago and you can't do it now, because it's you who's the liar. It's you who's jealous of this woman and it's you who stalks her, waiting to pounce just as Renata said, whenever you find an opening.

This is Nafisa Goma, a senior editor at Door of Kush Books.
We're very pleased to be releasing Kola Boof's history-making autobiography at the end of this month, and we would like to point out what our guidelines and process for publishing this particular non-fiction title was.
I will only mention what is absolute fact in this letter.
The United States Government had briefly suspected Ms. Boof as a "terrorist" under the PATRIOT ACT following a tip off from London's top daily newspaper, The Guardian, in which they'd done a story accusing Kola Boof of having once dated Osama Bin Laden. In that story, because she was afraid for her career, her reputation and her citizenship--Ms. Boof admitted that she knew Mr. Bin Laden but denied ever dating or having an affair with him (you can find this story printed online at The Guardian's website).
Subsequently, Ms. Boof was forced to save her citizenship and possible prosecution under the PATRIOT ACT by revealing to the State Department that she had in fact been involved with Osama Bin Laden--"sexually and romatically", but against her will.
Ms. Kola Boof's story is backed up by the owner of the estate where Ms. Boof lived with Bin Laden beginning in 1996---Prince Fabrizio Ruspoli.
Mr. Ruspoli, is an Italian Prince and has no reason whatsoever to lie on Kola Boof's behalf.
The entire media has all of this information, but because they don't like Ms. Boof's PRO-BLACK rhetoric and consider her a "militant"--they choose not to write about it.
Notice that in 6 years, no one has come along to disprove her story.
A U.N. report ratified by Andrew Young and others clearly states that a "Fatwa" was issued against Kola Boof in Khartoum, and although FOX NEWS originally set out to discredit Ms. Boof and were visibly nasty to her during a nationally televised profile of the author--they did confirm that their legion of fact checkers, who had been checking out Ms. Boof's story in North Africa, were able to confirm the death threats, Ms. Boof's identity and the fact that she lived with Mr. Bin Laden at La Maison Arabe in 1996.
Furthermore...we were able to confirm Ms. Boof's position in the SPLA (Ms. Boof was asked to write a poem for the funeral of Vice President John Garang, which was read on national t.v. in SUDAN), and much of her growing up process through Ms. Boof's parents--the Johnsons.

And in the first excerpts of her book regarding Bin Laden---(Beautiful Western Cowboy Love Story), she described HAVING FUN and being heartbroken because BIN LADEN did not like her HAIR!
She can do and say what she wants, but it's not very HARD to read between the lines. She didn't worry about her life much, but she did worry about her man not liking her HAIR.
No wonder she is so RACIST and COLORSTRUCK!
And no wonder she has had her skin lightened and her nose fixed. She has such incredible self-hating issues.
No one blames her for that, but to go ahead and espouse HATE against those of African descent in your HOST COUNTRY is really bizarre and twisted. |

What I don't understand is, if she just rolled up on this board the other day and DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT KOLA BOOF WHEN SHE GOT HERE, as she BOASTED several times already, why is it that she now knows as much about Kola as anyone else on this board? How did you know that Kola has a "butchered pussy?" And how did you know that her man left her, Mrs. Hart? You must have been studying her pretty hard the last couple of days, but that still doesn't explain how you know so much about her. Or Why. Interesting question, Tonya. Which could raise a number of theories. Is she truly who she proclaims herself to be? Perhaps her intimate knowledge comes first hand? Then again she might actually be an obsessed stalker? Is she simply a poor soul off her meds and in need of help? Is she a ruse planted solely to stir up attention? Maybe she just hopes that her tireless rants, over and over, on each and ever board, will save one lost soul if she can just dissuade one opinion of support?
Very curious, indeed....and food for thought for those who actually believe in thinking for themselves.
It raises many questions. As well, it may well answer many more....
