Time will pass and fade like grass, but don't be blue. It aint just you. For others, too, will fade and pass. Grow blind and gray, with they wrinkled ass. Their back will curve, their speech will slur. Their feet will hurt and memory spurt. They'll loose respect, and increase their debt. They can't get hired, they're forced to retire. Living day to day on a senior's fixxed pay. Finding the toilet in time is your biggest crime, but you're shunned anyway. Like you stole from the church on Christmas day. Like taking care of you is a pain in the ass. Like no one gives a damn how you were in the past. Because now you all gray and just in the way. Like you weren't there for them when you were young. Like you were just out for self and having fun. Like you treated old folks bad and aint give a damn. Like they deserved to get the golden sham. Like you never helped they old ass across the street. Like you never made sure they had food to eat. Like you never visited when they was sick. Like you treated folks bad and tried to be slick. Like you borrowed their cash and did the dash. Like you were selfish and cruel when you were young. Like they was the joke, and you had the fun. Like you shot up their pride and held on to the gun. Like you did your dad when you were his son. He needed looking after, but you weren't the one. Now he's gone and that thing is done. Now you gray and on your last rung. You pray cancer don't take that other lung. The way shit comes around.
