Wow!!! It's been so long since I've been here...see some familiar poets and some new. I see my best friend lambd is still stirring up things like only he can. Anyway, glad to be back, the poetry is beautiful. It makes it hard to get off of the net. Here's one of my pieces...hope you enjoy. God gave Adam, Eve And He gave you, me You've stirred up a love so deep within I didn't even know that it was inside I thought it had been used, abused, misused and thrown away But here you are...smiling in your special way! Love pouring through your pores so unrestricted, uninhibited, so real Your heart beating so hard I can touch it and touch it I do from my heart to you no words need be spoken as love is the token passed between you and I Ooh, baby, you got me open got me wanting to say "I Do" and then do you see, cuz, we have to do this thing right as we keep God as the head of our life and you become my hubby and I, your wife you're finally here...I knew you weren't far and here you are...smiling in your special way love pouring through your pores so unrestricted, uninhibited, so real don't be afraid baby, that's also how I feel I love being with you, walking with you, talking with you, laughing with you and definitely praying with you I wasn't sure this could exist That I could love and be loved like this God fulfilled my wish So I promise you this... Love is here to stay and the only thing left to say is "I Love You" |
