Hey, Cynnique.... You notice I've been nice to you the last day or so, right? |

Come on now, Doberman, you know what you're talking about is a palindrone - like radar. Racecar is a good one! And you can jump into my conversation any time, babe, because you are like a breath of fresh air. Needless to say, my interest in the colorism debate has paled. heh-heh, Pardon my pun. |

Dobey - Your mother should jump for joy that you don't have any children yet. Go and call her up right now and tell her I said so. And tell her that being a grandmother isn't all it's made out to be. At least you don't have no two and three baybimamas running around here trying to get some child support - what an accomplishment. Tell her that when you find a good woman, someone who is worthy of your family, maybe it will happen then and that you aren't in any hurry just yet. You are to be commended Dobey |

I agree Mzuri. My Black American mother raised me and my sisters that we were not to have a baby until age 25 or older. I raise my sons that same way. Only I tell my sons that they should be older than 30....OR...own their own business and be willing to marry the mother (which they'd better know before they stick it in without multi-protection). I say "willing", because I am not married to their father (a business owner), though he has asked me to marry him--I'm just a rare bitch who can't be tamed (they're too young to understand). BUT...I was older than 25 when I had my first baby. And my mother was right. It's been easy being a mother in my 30's.

I'm glad I waited. I was 30 when my son was born. I'm much more patient and don't feel like I'm "missing something" by not going out every night. I've been to the clubs and the bars enough, I ain't missing much. Younger people need to LIVE FIRST, and then have kids when they get bored with it all. Instead, they seem to want kids first, then scramble looking for babysitters so they can go "clubbing". If they wait just a while, they'll find out that there's not much going on there anyways, then they'll be free to stay with their babies. |

My sis is 28 and she probably won't be having a kid until she's at least 35 to 40....if she ever has one at all. |

Okay, then bring home a wiccan white girl dressed in goth make-up and gear with a little mixed baby. Make sure the baby is also dressed in goth. That'll really knock Mom's socks off for sure. Maybe you could pull this prank on April Fool's day |

"I don't wanna nit-pik, Doberman but you made a typo. It should've been your moms goes to church on sunday and witches the whole day, instead of bitches," says Cynique as she hungrily eyes Doberman, wishing she could kiss him and turn him into a frog who she could keep for a pet. Ribbit, Ribbit. Screw that ethiopian wench - and I'm sure you have. Oh, well, back to stirring my cauldron of boiling bat ears. ( I have a part-time gig as a vampire.) |

lol, my mom doesn't like my girl friend because my girlfriend is always talking about people, but get's mad when ppl make ethiopean jokes. come to think of it my mom prolly doesn't like me either ... especially since i could always move like the matrix and never get hit by slippers and dishes she'd throw at me. |

goths and wiccans aren't the same. I have friends who are wiccans. All wiccans are pagans, but not all pagans are wiccans. Whatever. |
