"Guillen is vacationing in the Dominican Republic with his wife, Ibis, and their youngest son, Ozney. The oldest of Guillen's three sons, Ozzie Jr., said Thursday that his father had considered re-arranging his vacation plans to accommodate a White House visit. But when he was told no wives or families were permitted to accompany the team on the visit, he chose to spend time with his family."

Bravo to Ozzie Guillen (the manager of the 2005 World Series Winner Chicago White Sox!!!) for essentially telling the White House to go f-themselves (and effectively robbing Bush of a Choice "I love me some gotdayam Mecikins!!!" PR spot).

Ozzie is Argentinian, and is not only a national hero in his native land but is also very good friends with the president of Argentina who hates Bush. So Ozzie does seem to be making a political statment. And Daley, who is very good friends with Bush because they are both dumb and inarticulate, is pissed and embarassed by Ozzie's actions. |

Sorry, ABM, you are right. Ozzie is Venezuelan. (Now we're even. LOL) And you know that Hispanics don't like to be all lumped together. I was so focused on him not being Mexican that I relegated him to the wrong South American country. |

anyways, who really wants to meet george bush's punk ass? he makes clinton look like the best president since lincoln. jordan blew one of those white house visits off too after the bulls won one of their 6. i think it's only the white people who really give a shit if they meet the president, most blks and other minorities would like to kick his ass. |
