Ha! Ha! Ha! That’s funny. No playing. Yes, I posted both articles. And if you had taken the time to notice, I commented how sad both were. The subjects are real, not products of my imagination. They are both real issues that impact the lives of many black people. But you have never heard me make any racist comments pitting black people against one another because of their skin color. To me, this "light skin/dark skin color game" is pathetic and counterproductive. That is why I was agreeing with Abm. No hypocrisy here my dear!

Why post those two articles, regardless of them being sad, if you were so tired of the subjects? You contributed to the exact thing you're putting down others for.
Me myself, I never started any threads on any such subjects. I rarely give my opinion on them. I mostly defend the character of Kola Boof on here.
If truth be told, I don't agree with a lot of what Kola says. I just like Kola and the type of woman she is. I admire her nerve and she's a fabulous writer.
Abm has ignored each post I directed at him for some reason, so I won't even bother addressing his newly egotistical ass.

Why is it necesssary for a character to suddenly pop up on this board to represent and defend kola boof??? Roxie and Renata perform that function. And, of course it should come as no suprise to anyone that I agree with ABM and Nfs. Nobody has ever changed anybody else's mind during these heated debates. |

I know one thing that's for sure. I am a dark skinned black woman, almost chocolate, who has not been able to relate to any of Kola and Tonya's petty insecurities or their exaggerations. Kola uses color to make money off lonely black women. I have always had a full happy life, I'm surrounded by every shade of black, I get on well with light skinned sisters, in fact we're just that--sisters. Black men have always been great towards me. I've had more than my share. I have not experienced any of this crap about color that these women exploit to separate us.

Nothing like a wealth of family love to remind you which of the members need to stop drinking and which ones might actually make some sense if they started.
Sadly though it would seem the babies can't get away from that milk tit long enough to actually think about and comment on anything else.

Kola and Tonya do not go around referring to dark-skinned women as lonely, single, desperate black women.... We said that they're devalued, yes. Marginalized, yeah that too. But when did we say that they're lonely in any way? What's more, it's funny how fast you brought up your experience to contest something that's obviously a figment of your imagination; so quick to let us know you live a happy life; that you're not jealous of light-skinned women; and that "black men have always been great towards" you. Hmmmm. That's strange because Kola and I do not paint pictures of lonely, unhappy, jealous-hearted black women.

Again, if you object to what I post, state why and present a compelling counter argument. But leave the silly nefarious accusations out.
The two articles I posted were provocative and raised a lot of questions. Granted I could have posted something much more politically, artistically or socially complex, but sometimes I come across articles that are outrageous or potentially explosive. Light hearted and not complex, but worthy of a comment (IMO). But your “hypocrisy” accusation is bogus and ill placed. GET A DICTIONARY AND STUDY!
