I live in L.A and I use to be good friends with her ex-husband. He owns a barber shop in North Hollywood, Ca. I do not like her. She is fat, loud, and ghetto. I don't know about you guys but I am a little sick and tired of them portraying black women as Fat, Loud, Unattractive, Neck-rolling, hand glued to the hip, and finger-snappers. How do you feel? |

She portrays herself that way, it's not "them". (Who are "they"?)
But I agree, there should be more diversity. For every negative there should be a positive. That's more like the real world. But then if TV were real, it wouldn't be TV. Diversity won't come till we own our own networks though. (And we play more than videos and comedy on them)
I think she needs to ease up on skinny women. I don't go saying "fat women are lazY". Why I gotta be evil? I'm frickin suzy sunshine! At least I try to be nice.
How do you feel about Samuel L. Jackson? He's pretty loud. And always plays an angry black man. |

His attitude, his fowl mouth, and the characters he play. She HATES him.
She could want to see a movie, hear that he's in it, and just REFUSE to even consider seeing it. |

My aunt calls him "that yelling man".
My fiance made a bet as to how long it would take him to scream in the movie "Coach Carter". I said 7:45. He said like 9. It took about 8:30 I think. But it was one movie I didn't hate him in.
I hated that ponytail in Jackie Brown and those braids in that movie he wore the kilt in. But Jungle Fever? The gator dance? I know it should have been sad, not funny. But it cracked me up. |

Mo'nique i think just feels that it's time for fat girls to shine... i don't know if yall realize it but black women do act like that... yall lookin in a mirrior, atleat most of yall are... don't try to say im lyin, cuz when black women get angry or feel intimidated a lot of them get the neck rollin and all... even the ones from the burbs... so, if you don't like it, then change it.... I see more black women on tv then men... where are the roles for the black men... i can name a whole lot of black actresses, and only a handful of black actors.... |
