Is she a bigger whore slutbag than Paris? I haven't heard much about Nicole to be sick of her! I think she needs to eat, that's why I think! But I don't see her as a spoiled little white girl. I see her as a damaged girl who needs direction. Never thought much of her color, but I don't really pay much attention to color on a whole. White, black, light, dark, I really don't make judgements on people on that basis. Matter of fact, I hadn't thought about it until I started coming here because I haven't been the victim of blantant colorism, meaning, no one has said anything positive or negative to my face. Except once, this guy did tell me that light skinned women had "stinky coochies". I don't let that kind of ignorance bother me though. Has anyone read her book, "The Truth About Diamonds"? | ||

He's FIVE, dating won't be an issue for quite some time. I might not even be living here when he's old enough to date. I moved him to the town where my fiance lives, who is black, just like me. He grew up near here and didn't become a disconnected nerd with a white wife. He's got me, and if you doubt my blackness, oh well. I've posted the address of my yahoo group so many times, you can see for yourself! I don't use a psuedonym here. But then you'll probably say I'm not black because of my fair skin and lack of negroid features. Or attack me for a myriad of other trite reasons. I have a car! I can take him to where the black people are. And college will undoubtedly expose him to a more balanced population. Of course I see color because I have eyes! (DUH!) I don't judge on the basis of color. And I don't really care what color Nicole is or what she considers herself to be that much. I don't know her. No harm no foul prettybabygirl! :-) Not big time(yet) and trust me, only love could have made me come here (I wouldn't have known it existed otherwise), even if I did live in the so called "armpit of America", Gary, Indiana. I'm about an hour and a half east of Cleveland now, the poorest black city. It's sad really to come from Chicago, a city with such progress to here. Aiming to change some things though. I'm thinking of starting a black newspaper for the Northeastern corridor of Ohio. Won't have much in the way of readership, but well, it'll be cheap to produce! A lot of the black men here are allergic to sistahs! Trust me, I let them have it a full dose of South Side Chi attitude as soon as they start with "black women always..." We don't always anything! I'm pretty colorblind honestly, but I do despise "slave mentality" which I see a lot of in the surrounding towns. It's pretty here though, and quiet. Thought it would help me write, and it does sometimes, but I end up on here all day! It's like crack! But the way I feel about Blacks who don't want to claim us, is that they aren't worth us claiming, you know. We don't need any weak links! But anyhoo, continued success at the Post. | ||

Nicole discussed her racial backround years ago on a talk show. She stated that both her biological parents are Biracial--and she is, too (obviously). I don't care who she hangs out with. It doesn't change the FACT that she is Biracial. Hey, someone please pass along the rule book that states that Biracial people and Black people have to hang out with only (or a majority of) other Black people to prove they are REALLY Biracial/Black. She shouldn't have to prove she's black because she is not. I'm on the biracials' side 100% on this one, and not only because it suits my agenda. Just like all black people SHOULD be proud of who they are, biracials should and have EVERY right to be proud of who they are too. My only wish is for black people to stop showing the world how desperate and self-loathing they are to have white blood included in their race. I mean, NO self-pride; NO self-love; NO self-respect; it's pathetic!! -- it really is. There are times when we as black people are made to feel ashamed and embarrassed of who we are. Nicole Richie is beyond "biracial". She's white. We need to get rid of these racist guidelines that keep people like Mariah Carey and Richie from claiming their dominant identity. If you're that damned white you should be able to claim it. Imagine India Arie being told she can't claim she's black because of a single drop of white blood? That's basically what is going on. You must consider the possiblity that they, like you, are "proud of who they are"--something that they have "EVERY right" to express. | ||
