I have no idea if any of the websites authors assertions are true or not, but I did find it interesting. Even though there was a number of black people who felt Dave Chappelle’s show was over the top with his parodies and spoofing of race relations and black people in general, I personally enjoyed his show (just as I enjoyed the caustic wit and satire of Richard Pryor). Being that I am a committed proponent of First Amendment rights and freedom of expression, WHETHER I PERSONALLY AGREE OR NOT, I’m hoping that this story is not true. I detest censorship and all the politically correct Stalinist oppression that accompanies it. Let the readers of this board read the authors contention and judge for themselves. As I said, I cannot verify or deny anything posted at this website. But I am hoping that it is not true. Please go to: http://www.chappelletheory.com/index.html

Dark Crusade? Get outta here. The author of the article is obviously a conspiracy buff. He probably has a long convoluted theory as to who assassinated President Kennedy and Martin Luther King and why they did it. I can't believe that what Dave Chappelle portrayed on a cable TV comedy show that averaged a few million viewers an episode would create enough concern among the movers and shakers of America's black community to motivate them to actually come together and form a coalition. Especially since none of the really major problems facing black folks have inspired this diverse collection of leaders to put aside their differences and mount a crusade to improve conditions. Dave Chapelle is no more of a threat than 50-cents or Kanye West or Chris Rock, or the black Kings and Queens of stand-up comedy who took their lasciviovus routines about black life on a nation-wide tour that was filmed for public consumption. |

Hi Rustang. It's amazing the trouble a person would go through just to pull a joke off on others, if indeed this is a prank. I think the writer is a crackpot but that's because I think all conspiracy theorists are a tad loony. One thing is sure, the internet has become a playground for mischief-makers. |

I don't care about Dave Chapelle? He did what so many other black men who try to increase their social standing do. He married a non-black woman.(Asian to be exact). We black people need to stop praising these sell-out brothers and their white wives. |

So, is she asian or white? Or are all non-blacks automatically white by some new principle of exclusion? My wife and I are black and this has worked for us for quite a while now, but I don't condemn people as sell-outs when what works for them is something different.Would he not be a sell-out if his significant other was another black man? Or if he had a black wife and several girfriends of various ethnicities? Personally, I think I'll just be me and let Dave be Dave. |

And Dave Chappelle IS a colorstruck black man and "weakling" who sought out a Non-black woman expressly related to his prejudices against his own women, because he himself....like so many peons...needed a "beard" for his blackness. Of course, he likes to "exploit" black women for sex--something Black American men feel comfortable about--using black women for sex and cherishing and loving women of other races. I'm growing tired of Men who aren't man enough to give birth to their own image. Every generation--these black men try to ERASE their own face just a little bit more. We have to stop supporting them.

What makes me most mad about men like dave chapelle is that he believes himself and is seen as a 'down brother' who mocks this white supremist culture at every opportunity, when, really he's participant in it. Watch the skits on his show, look at how the black women are portrayed, especially in comparison with the Asian women. Same story with every generation of Black men. P.S. Has anyone seen Mos Def's wife? The tradition continues. |

Zuriburi, Kola pointed out to me a while ago that those men who cry the most about racism and white men being the enemy, are somehow the guys who date white women. She pointed it out to me during a discussion on French/Arab racism, when I remembered that MOST (85%) of the Arab men I personally have met have French wives. But all you seem to hear from Arab men is how racist French people are against Arab men. |

But all you seem to hear from Arab men is how racist French people are against Arab men. Hmmmmmm……I guess that means if a man (Arab or black or whatever) dates white women, that means he has no right to distain or complain about racism? I can’t comment on the percentage of Arab males who have white wives since I don’t know (but to be honest, I’m not surprised at their dating white women), but I’m not sure I understand why their not liking racism is “invalid” or “negated” because of their mates. Frederick Douglass was one of the foremost leaders of the abolitionist movement, which fought to end black slavery within the United States in the decades prior to the Civil War. He also served as an adviser to Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War and fought for the adoption of constitutional amendments that guaranteed voting rights and other civil liberties for blacks. His wife was white. Should he have been totally dismissed and ignored because of the woman he married? Should his tireless efforts to fight slavery and racial injustice been null and void because of the color of his wife? Just curious…

At least Frederick Douglass admitted that he was colorstruck. His first wife, the one who was so devoted and did everything for him--the one he betrayed, was BLACK. And just like black people know a "white bigot", black women damn sure can clock a "colorstruck black man". But the reason I LOVE Frederick Douglass, is that he admitted that he was colorstruck, that he was AFFECTED by slavery to the point that aquiring a white wife was a STATUS symbol. I hold nothing against the ones who don't degrade our race by claiming that White women are superior and Black women are just "problematic". These stupid nigger men don't realize what they're saying about the ENTIRE RACE of Black Human Beings when they assert that there's something inherently wrong with Black women. And through his COLORIST television show--Dave Chappelle did that on a constant. He's a sorry, sick weak ass black nigger who thought marrying an Asian would baptize his dick in EQUALITY....HA!! But the whole world laughs at our race. Because of what we think of our people. As an African, I absolutely hated it when he ran his weak ass to South Africa to hide. I detest this type of man.

Well, NTFS, they complain about the mistreatment they receive from them, and then want so badly to be part of their family. If that's not a contradiction, I don't know what is. If I really believe the white race is against me, why would I then chase a white man and not mind saying that black men are crap? Maybe they want to be a part of their family, because they agree with them? Also, as far as Arab/French racism, again Arab men I've met complain about racism, but don't marry just "white" women in general, but FRENCH women in particular. But they say it's the FRENCH people that hate them. |

Let me guess NTFS you are married to a non-black woman. Is that why you defending him so much? I don't care my brother did the same thing. He married a Latina chick. But my brother will admit the he is very Colorstruck. Also, I don't understand why these Colorstruck black men always feel the need to try to act like they are down. Surely this new generation of celebrity men who claim to love blackness are aware of the long history of black militants before them who to preferred vanilla. They have to see the hypocrisy in that. They must be aware of the manifestations of internalised white supremacy. These are bright men. And still they can't resist. Is it simply a lack of integrity on their part? Is the lure of whiteness so strong that 'resistence is futile'? And, if these men represent the best of Black resistence, what chance do average, status quo brothers have?

i don't respect the notion that people SHOULD stick to their own race. I'm as white as can be, and hope to marry a middle eastern or latina girl. its science that the more mixed up you are, the better equipped you'll be in terms of evolution. i know that there are millions of intelligent, attractive black girls out there. But, i'm a realist... i believe the culture differences, and probable family reaction on both sides would be too much to deal with, but i'm not opposed to it. how am i a racist, when i'm saying all races should mix. if you are saying races should stay separate, THAT is what's racist. |

I didn't say you were a racist. And I didn't say races should stay separate. I do find it curious that your family wouldn't have trouble with an Asian or Hispanic but couldn't handle you marrying a black girl. Aren't Asian and Hispanic cultures different from yours? But you don't have to apologize or justify your feelings; just be honest. Admit it. Although you are condescending enough to not condemn it in others, you wouldn't marry a black girl because well, - you know- she's a - black girl! Yours is a prejudice so ingrained that you don't even realize it. |

just for that comment,... i'm going to marry... YOU... what is your number? i never said Asian... I see making it work with an Asian even less likely than with an African American. i believe many Asians are deluded in their thinking about what a white man will provide them. i never said i wouldn't marry a black woman, just that i don't see it being likely to work, so why even pursue it? Do you see the irony here... people complaining that Chappelle married an Asian, though at the same time, chastising me, a white guy for saying he probably won't marry a black girl. it sounds like Blacks may only marry other Blacks, but if a White guy won't marry a Black, then he is 'predujiced'. incidentally, i've been dating this Middle Eastern girl, and she recently told me that she doesn't think its likely she'll end up with an American, because, as she put it, we're not passionate enough about things... not about music, not about our culture, our religion. she was stereotyping Americans... But i like her, and will try, even though the odds are against it. |

Well, it's mostly black women who are against interracial marriage and they are always on the defensive about this subject. That's because white women seem to "steal" our best and brightest men and what with how black eligible women outnumber black eligible men 8 to 1, things get a little testy. Many black females complain that black women have experienced more rejection than anyone anywhere and they resent it. And there's no doubt that racial prejudice exists across the board. But that's the way of the world. An "us" against "them" mentality prevails and an innate xenophobia that dates back to cave men fearing any strangers who looked different. I kinda agree with your mid-eastern girlfriend. America is a very materialistic company and intellectual or aesthetic or altruistic pursuits are not a priority among the average citizen. IMO. |

"black eligible women outnumber black eligible men 8 to 1". I wasn't aware of that fact. Thats a pretty big difference. its seems like its the opposite ratio whenever i go out... all guys, and few girls. Incidentally, i just read Chappelle will be doing standup show in Seattle, at $52 / ticket, and Comedy Central will be releasing the 4 completed shows from Season 3, this spring. p.s. i don't look unlike Brad Pitt. i live in Los Angeles. |

"Eligible" is the operative word here. That 8 to 1 ratio stems from the fact that black men make up a high percentage of the prison population where they languish away their time, pumping iron and threatening rival gang members, the victims of a system that is stacked against them. I saw Dave Chappell on Oprah's show and he seemed very fragile. Whatever. Oh and did I mention that I'm often mistaken for Angelina Jolie? My lips - well what can I say? They're absolutely luscious. I too, thought Chappelle looked very odd on Oprah. Like he had mentally snapped. Even Oprah couldn't hide the fact that she didn't know what to make of him. He's appeared frequently on stage, stoned, but this looked more severe, almost cracked out. Glassy, wandering eyes, slurred speech. Thank God that i don't have 50 million dollars. |

You don't mean that last statement, do you? I'd take 50 million dollars to do what I have a talent for. All the Chapelle had to do was surround himself a little mafia to do his bidding, become a tyrant on the set, and run things his way. Nobody ever made it in show business by being a wimp. Actually, I don't think he is worth 50 million dollars because I question whether he has longetivity since his humor is almost exclusively grounded in "race." IMO. You know, I like talking with you.
