That's wonderful. Hey? Who the hell is this President Ford??? ...and why is his death overshadowing the Godfather's?? All of the sudden Mr. Ford is somebody we should know about. Why? |

Tonya: Ignore him. He was an empty suit of whom Lyndon Johnson another president, once said he was so stupid he couldn't walk down the street and chew gum at the same time. He came in very handy when it came time to have somebody cosign the lies of the Warren Commission and Pardon Nixon. |

The outstanding thing about Gerald Ford was that he was never elected to the presidency but held both the office of vice-president and president by default, Tonya. He was appointed VP when Spiro Agnew was forced to resign due to shady financial dealings having to do with conflict of interest, and, as vice president, Ford later ascended to the presidency when Richard Nixon was forced to resign over Watergate. Ford lost when he ran on his own against Jimmy Carter in the following election. Ford was a decent man but a klutzy lackluster leader. And, of course, I'm reciting all of this from memory. I've lived through 12 presidencies. uh-uh-uh. |
