When I was 11 my Mother gave me a subscription to American Girl magazine. That was the first time I realized she knew how much I loved to read. I had been given books before but something about getting something new to read month after month was so exciting! I was so happy to know that she knew me that I started crying. Happy Holidays Everyone!

When my late husband surprised me with an engagement ring for Christmas. Years later, after the ring got too small, he had the diamonds reset and surprised me with a cocktail ring for Christmas. >>Sob-Sob<< |

I have so many happy memories but my favorite Christmas memory was the time that my parents bought me the sled that I wanted. I was about nine years of age and it was a white Christmas with lots of snow outside. They usually kept the Christmas tree area hidden from view until it was time to open the presents but I accidentally got a sneak peek a couple of days before Christmas and I was so excited that they (or Santa) had brought me exactly what I wanted and I just couldn't wait until I got my hands on my new sled. And man, when I got that sled outside - it was on!!! I had so much fun sledding in the snow. I can't believe what a tomboy I was coming up, because I'm so ultra prissy now. Anyway, Christmastime is my favorite and we always have a special time. Life is what you make it!!! Merry Christmas Everybody!!! I Hope This Will Be A Wonderful One!!!

My ma bought me a bike for Christmas. It was EXACTLY the one I wanted. We were PO so she really couldn't afford. And since we were in Chicago it was MONTHS before I ever got a chance to ride it. But GOD I'll always love my ma for that. |

The one where I found out that it was all a bunch of pagan bullsh*t that Negroes had no business supporting and that everything was cheaper after Xmas and all I had to do was wait. Yes, that was the one. |
