Posted on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 - 01:26 pm:        I absolutely abhor Hollywood gossip but I was watching this program about these two and it was irresistable, like watching a trainwreck. I am one of those who at first wondered what it was attracted them until I met people who have met Whitney and who said that they are just alike. I guess Whitney found somebody in showbiz she could get loaded with who wouldn't make an issue of it--and somebody who would make her look good no matter how much crap she got into. Bobby, the fool was in love with her. If he had had a lick of sense or education he'd have known he was cruising for a bruising--maybe he should have seen "A Star is Born". Troublemaking, egotistical (for what reason) minor star from the projects marries megastar 6 years his senior--he had to suffer. Then again, maybe he was just a beard. There have been times the married Svengalis of these divas let them marry some nonentity in order to disquise their own dalliances-- Maybe she is Clive Davis' woman and Bobby foolishly thought he could get her away (maybe she even reached out to Brown like this)and he has to suffer and all his getting into trouble is somebody acting out-- At any rate, they were definitely bad for each other but they spared some nice person the agony of being hooked up with them. I can't say if it's true or not, I've never met her.
