Well, all you Beyonce haters will have to swallow your wrath because she was nominated for a Golden Globe award in the "best actress in a musical or comedy category". Jennifer was nominated for best supporting actress in this category. Eddie Murphy made the list for best supporting actor in this same category. Forest Whitaker got the nod in the "best actor in a drama" for his portrayal of Idi Amin, the infamous African dictator. And this is your "pop culture vulture" signing off for now, kiddies. In 10 years Beyonce will be 35 years old and will look the same way she always has just like Mariah Carey does after 10 years. Bet.
Golden Globes are a barometer for the Oscars but Beyonce doesn't stand a chance to be nominated for an Oscar because they Academy doesn't have a separate category for Musicals like the GG does. |

Beyonce will be nominated for an OSCAR guaranteed for writing the song "Listen" which is the front runner for best song at the Oscars. They cant nominate "And I'm Telling You" because it's not an original song but came from the stage play. Beyonce has a good chance of winning an Oscar and I hope she does.

Well, I agree with you on that Cynique. However, I do think that Jennifer Judson will be nominated for Best Supporting actress. And I think that Eddie Murphy will be nominated for Best Supporting Actor. I believe that Forest Whitaker will be nominated for Best Actor. I have the feeling the Will Smith will also be nominated.
Call me crazy but I think that Eddie Murphy actualy has a good shot at winning Best Supporting actor as well. |

Chrishayden, I have to disagree with you on your hypothesis. I do believe that they are going to do Bey like they did Diana Ross and make her a legend. Now whether she gets involved in drugs and alcohol that remains to be seen.
If she is smart she will stay away from that stuff get married to Jay-Z and start a family. I also believe that all of this exposure is not good for her. I mean after a while ppl will just plain get sick of you. Now what she needs to do after all of this movie stuff is over "lay low" for about a year. Then come back out really strong. |
