Renata,
I love you and miss you, sis.
Please post this on the board for me.
1) I have not been to aalbc.com let alone posted there in months nor will I.
2) I am not mad at ABM, we always disagree and argue but we never stay mad at each other for very long. I am certain that he loves and admires me just as much
as I do him, and of course, part of his charm is the fact that I cannot dominate him.
I even have a poem called "ABM" in my upcoming poetry collection, and I wrote my
poems about Charles Stepney with ABM's spirit as my light. I am so over our tiff.
3) I am working on 4 book projects right now and writing for a t.v. show. I am totally
positive that "Virgins In the Beehive" will be my first breakthrough on the bestseller
charts in 2007. It's an escapist POP novel, but I need a departure right now.
4) I love black men and I'm dating a "very black" man right now--the filmmaker Donovan
Saloman. He's TALLER than me!!!!! And he is someone who has been my friend for
several years and we totally adore each other. I am not bitching about black men at
this time. Sorry folks.
5) Hello and all my love to Tonya, ABM, Chris Hayden, Tall Brother, Ngo, Zuriburi and to
any and everyone who appreciated me as a person and artist. Merry christmas!!

Nafisa (& Renata),
I don't recall Kola and I being estranged, but I appreciate her gesture to mend fences between us. I feel greatly honored by and appreciative of her dedicating poems to the Great CHARLES STEPNEY and to me. I hope that Kola is enjoying her burgeoning success and fame. And I wish her and her family the very best of health, wealth and happiness.

C'mon, Tonya. Ickabooboogeek has been a very competent substitute teacher for kola. You kola klones couldn't have asked for a better role model to emulate which was what you did when it came to barking the same ol kola dogmas. |
