Does anyone here know anything about spirits or entities of any kind?
Last night, I was talking to some friends, and suddenly there came a weird negative feeling over all of us, like an evil being was approaching or something. I remember thinking that I don't want any negative energy.
I figured that it was just my imagination, so at the time, I closed my eyes for a second.....and saw a face. Another friend kept looking over her shoulder because she said that she felt like another person was there.

LOL......NOT MUCH. I only had two beers, Beck's.
My friends were drinking beer, and one of them also had some wine.
No one got drunk. I just had a slight buzz. |

I've made friends with the entities who regularly visit me in the middle of the night in bed. I have lost 3 people close to me in the past 5 years and I guess they're keeping my company, holding my hand, straightening the sheets, making my skin to tingle, hiding things from me that eventually reappear in the place where I've previously looked... |

I have a friend who says that he can talk to entities. That would probably scare the bejesus out of me.
Another friend believes that if you lose small things and they later come back, it's a playful fairy just having fun with you. That's a little out there, I guess. |

Renata if you are interested in finding out what this spirit wants to communicate to you and you live in a large city you should have no problem. If there is a large Haitian or African immigrant population someone should be able to refer you to a reader. Make sure the reader is reputable by listening to hear the same name from several different sources. They usually charge about $40-$50 and may have you bring something that helps the communication. Even Christian and Muslim Africans will often know of someone or someone who does know someone.
Another alternative, if there is a large Carribean latino population in your area, is go to a Botanica which is a religious good shop. They also have readers of various African derived faiths (Santeria, Vodoo, etc.) . A botanica can refer you to such a person.
Unfortunatley I'm not familiar with non-African spiritualists who may be able to help you. |

Thanks. There is a large Dominican population here. There are Haitians here also, but they don't live together in one area, they tend to blend in with the rest of us, so you'd basically have to KNOW a Haitian to find out more about them in this area. I'm going to look into those "Botanicas".
I was also told by someone that sometimes if someone's obsessed with you and is angry that they can't find you, you can feel their presence. |

The same with the Africans, other than Sudanese and Somali, they don't tend to live in "communities", so I'll ask around. |

I contacted a friend who knows about this kind of thing. She said that the spirit is someone who died and he was upset because we invaded his space, so he's moving somewhere else where he won't be bothered. |

Entities Entities. Sometimes they are our imagination, other times I am not so sure.
I can remember my grandparents' house on North Broadway, since torn down. You could be downstairs and swear somebody was walking around upstairs. When I told my grandmother about it she said that you could hear people walking around in there all the time. One time I can swear I saw somebody up there when I was the only one in the house--
Could have dreamed it, though. The human mind is tricky. Dreams, visions, hallucinations--how many times have you seen somebody in public that you know it couldn't have been because they were dead?
The mind plays tricks but there are things that one cannot explain.
I have had experiences when, wide awake, I was suddenly someplace else--I remember one time a few years ago being in my dorm room at Uof I--my roomate sitting at his desk, I could feel the floor and the wind through the window--
A flashback? Astral travel? A bit of undigested beef stew?
For me the jury is out. I have no definitive proof, but have no proof the other way either. |

What do you want to know for ? I'd be careful of opening doors that you know nothing about. If the spirit/energy etc didn't scream out your name Renata or scratch in on the wall LOL ! I'd just move on and continue to live in positive light. |

LOL ! Chris..I'm not scared baby. In fact, the paranormal/supernatural has always been an interest of mine. However, if you believe what you just wrote above...then it is highly recommended that people do not open doors that they know nothing about. They might not be able to get rid of it. |

Yeah, that's why they say Ouija boards are "dangerous" because they provide a worm hole for spirits to enter the living world... or something. I've always believed that there is a parallel world that exists beyond our six senses, a world that is all around us which we can't perceive because our brains aren't able to process what our sight transmits to it. It has been written that when white men first arrived in America, the Indians took a while to discern them because they were such an unfamiliar sight to their brains that they didn't know what they were seeing. woooooooooooooooo |

I didn't open a door of any kind....he just kind of showed up. We were all surprised. We weren't doing any seances or anything of the kind. |
