If you happen to see it, you will undoubtedly see how this film 'Bobby' is yet another shining example of how deep white supremacy runs in the veins of so-called 'white liberals.' That tight-ass, Emilio Estevez was actually beaming with pride at a recent panel and screening of the film in LA. Please pay close attention to Fishburne's and Cannon's characters. And that "Dey-yo" redbone, Harry Belafonte could not have played a lamer African American, except in real life. These performances will be enough to make any self-respecting black person want to purge. Estevez wrote that piece of shit script and is WAY OFF! He needed to do alot more research. Look at the credits at the end of the film, and notice whom he consulted in making this movie. He said "...many of the issues I've raised in the film are very relevant to today..." you decide... |

"Dey-yo, redbone" Harry Belafonte, huh? You and Kola Boof have something in common, Toubobie. You both have a problem with Harry. Whaaaaaaaaaat a coincidence. |

I was wondering why this poster came on so strong with the putdowns and insults of the forum regulars. |

I knew the movie was lacking when I saw Nick Cannon in it. That kid is the ultimate, young, Black, Hollywood bafoon. |

Kola Boof is fierce, but I'm not her. Thanks for the compliment, though.

Ain't this story about Bobby Kennedy? If so, what big parts in it are there for Black people? |

The cast of this "the night Bobby Kennedy was shot" movie is an ensemble one with most of the big name stars just doing cameos. Harry Belafonte plays a chess player in this film, engaged in a game with Anthony Hopkins. |

Kitchen help As I understand it the movie takes place in the hotel on the day he was shot in 1968--so there would probably be little more than Kitchen help black on the scene, or with any appreciable parts. I think Rosie Grier and Rafer Johnson were serving as bodyguards for him--they might not want that pointed out. |

If you knew the answer, then why'd you ask? I haven't seen the movie - just the previews - and the lone Black person I saw (Fishburne) was kitchen help. (Pic of Chris Hayden for anyone who hasn't seen him in person)

Mzuri: You forgot my beard and glasses. Plus I almost never wear red. I wanted to give Toubob enough rope to hang himself. |

The movie is a tribute to Robert Kennedy, written and directed by someone who bought into the myth of RFK, a charismatic figure whose death made him a martyr. After the assassinations of both his brother and Martin Luther King, the ruthless, vicious Bobby supposedly became a kinder, gentler, person eager to save the world. Nobody knows what kind of president he would've been. But the observation can be made that had he not been a Kennedy, replete with the entitlement that came with this name, he would've been just another liberal politician who made promises. |
