I think it's all the hormones and chemicals that are used to "make" the meat. Our food supply is unsafe - veggies probably cause cancer too |

Yes, vegetables and fruits are contaminated because of the insecticides sprayed on them. Nothing is safe anymore. I don't eat red meat, because by the time I finish putting garlic salt on it and cooking it, it's brown. |

The scarier thing is that organic doesn't even mean organic anymore which I thought was the only way to get decent food in this country. I read that if something is labeled organic on the front it means that a minimum of 70% of the ingredients are organic. Whereas if it says organic on the side of the label it means that a minimum of 50% of the ingredients must be organic. I am thankful that my husband and I know how to grow our own vegetables. |
