Wow! To die so young of a heart attack. I wonder if it was a sedentary lifestyle and lack of not taking care of himself vice a genetic heart condition waiting to happen. He was a very soulful singer. I really liked him. This is very sad. Such an outstanding talent gone at such a premature age. I remember when I was 22, there was a guy in the news who died of a heart attack at 32. It shook me up. I knew he was young and it could happen to me. Ya never know.

How tragic for Gerald Levert to be taken away in the prime of life. Tragic, too, that his father is now faced with one of the most heartwrenching ordeals in life; burying a son. |

When they interviewed Gerald Levert on MTV's Cribs, he had a toaster and refrigerator next to his bed. Does that tell you anything? I'm sure he didn't use the toaster as an alarm clock... "pop pop pop pop..." His father is every much as culpable in his son's death as Col. Sanders. He needed to teach his son early on that there is something very wrong with moving his bed into the kitchen. |
