Then he supposedly lied about being a lawyer and he LIED about hanging with Hefner. The issue wasn't that he went to the Playboy party, it was that he lied.

With his green eyes, pale skin and sandy hair, Harold Ford appears less black than Obama. And there he is in Tennessee, thinkin those voters are going to elect somebody who reminds them of what went on in the slave quarters. |

If his opponent had visited the Playboy mansion, you think that would have sunk his election bid?
Perhaps what hurt Ford most were the scandals his kinfolks are involved in.

i think he looks like derek jeter a little bit. folley almost won to even though he was getting his "kiddie love" on. so it just goes to show, you never know how these will turn out.
i'm just waiting for bush to cowboy up and start making those "calls" to make sure virginia doesn't help the senate go republican. g-dub is gangsta like that. |

I seem to recall reading that several of the Congressional Black Caucus voted for the Bankruptcy bill. And the site you referenced to says Ford votes FOR minimum wage increases.

I doubt if the Playboy visit in itself prevented him from getting elected, although your comment about staying clear of white wimin would probably be a good idea to ponder if one has aspirations in any of the Dixieland prefectures.
