Chris Rock seeks divorce
"Everybody Hates Chris" narrator and inspiration Chris Rock isn't liking married life too much these days.
The comedian has begun divorce proceedings against wife Malaak Compton-Rock by hiring a high-powered attorney, reports TMZ.com.
The couple wed in November 1996 and has two daughters: Lola, 4, and Zahra, 2. Malaak-Rock founded the non-profit salon StyleWorks, which provides full services free of charge to women who are getting their careers started after leaving welfare behind.
When contacted, Rock's rep would only tell TMZ, "I cannot comment at this time."
Rock, 41, is the grown-up narrator for the CW sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris." The comedian's recent film credits include "Head of State," "The Longest Yard," "Madagascar" and the upcoming comedy "I Think I Love My Wife" in the capacity of writer and director. |

Well, I look at it like this: She'll get a shyt load of money, not be bothered by his ugly a$$, and now have the opportunity to find a (MUCH) better looking (wealthy) man! |

Where you been, Moonsigns? Been askin about ya.
I am really surprised that Chris is leaving his wife. Wonder if he just didn't like married life or if a third-party is involved. And actually once he got his teeth fixed and became a multi-millionaire, Chris was starting to look pretty good. |

Thanks Mzuri and Cynique! Although I haven't shared it until now, I recently had another baby. Life is busy! Very busy! Once we (my family and I) get used to our new routine, I'm sure I'll post more often.

The baby is a girl and our 5th child (yes, you read that right)! For personal/professional reasons, I can't share her name. However, we are all doing well and just enjoying every moment with her --even the poopy, sleepy, and fussy ones! She's an absolute love!!!!

Congratulations on the baby! FIVE? WOW!!!!! You're MUCH braver than I am. One is enough for me (and he came as a surprise FIVE YEARS earlier than we planned).

I've thought about having that done myself. But I may want to try one more time for a girl....in about ten years....MAYBE. If I have another boy, I'm just giving up and not having any more.
Is this your only daughter? I know that some people just keep trying until they get one. My mother was the SIXTH child and first daughter. |
