All joking and insults aside. If AA's don't descend from Africans. Where do you think we descend from? And if the term AA's are wrong, what should we call ourselves. |

You and I know that Nolanfane but I was just trying to get his viewpoint on things. It baffles my mind to think that someone actually thinks that most AA's don't descend from Africans. Since most AA's look just like West Africans. |

Also, Lil_ze why don't you do what most Black Hispanics try to do and disconnect yourself from AA's. Since most of them consider us too Black anyway.
I don't know why you try to gain solidarity with AA's when most Black Hispanics even the darkest and most African featured of them try to disconnect themselves from us anyway. |

Aaron,aka serenasailor your never gonna call or email me so here's my message since this is the only way to get your attention. Sorry to put your business outin public, but Ive called and ask you to email me on more than one occassion. And I think after reading my post about your profanity, our 13plus years of friendship will come to an end. I want life Aaron, LIFE! And this system is now at a very critical time, the new tract we will distribute starting Oct 15th will bring about everything you and I know to be true as Jehovah's Witnesses. Instead of cursing and acting like one of Satans Little demons on this site, why not Witness to these people who seem to be so lost and have so much hatred for oneanother. You are one of the sweetest most caring people I know, how in the world could you be associated with such language and hate that this site promotes? Your mom raised a kind and loving young man with good goals and a heart that cares for all races, no matter what happened in the past. You are not like these people Aaron, its time to let go of Satans hold on us and come back to Jehovah and warn people before it is too late. Remember the people of Noah's day, they laughed and didn't listen. The outcome as we know was tragic. well serenasailor, ive spoken about this topic on many other threads. but if you really want to know.
in short, "black americans" don't descend from africans (the dark skin races in africa).
yes, a part of our people dwelled IN africa, but that doesn't mean that our people originated in africa.
our people (the slaves who were brought to the new world) came to the new world about 400 plus years ago. there is about 4000 THOUSAND years of recorded human history.
there is not ONE racial group that dwells in the land mass known as "africa". there are different racial groups, all who have dark skin, who dwell in the land called "africa".
some of our people dwelled in africa for a certain period of history, but that doesn't mean that we are the same as the other different dark races that dwell in africa.
the ethiopians, somalians, etc, dwell in the land of africa. the people in nigeria, congo, rwanda, etc, also dwell in the land of africa. just because these people all dwell in the land mass known as africa, does NOT mean that they are the same people or the same racial group.
our people are a distinct people. sure the nations in africa have dark skin, but they are a different racial group than we are. there are many different racial groups on the planet earth who have dark skin and hair texture like our people.
australian aboriginies, the bushmen of namibia, the people of the south pacific islands, the ethiopians, the TRUE arabs, the people of the phillipeans (i know i spelled it wrong), the people of morrocco, tunisia, etc are ALL dark skin people, but they ARE NOT the same race.
when our peole were enslaved, those who enslaved us (the arab, africans, and the white man) did everything the could to ERASE our identity. so now many of our people have know idea who they are, and falsely believe we are some "watered down" version of the african.
our people look NOTHING like the dark races in africa. sure a handful of "west africans" look like our people, but you must remember that many of our people went back to africa to live.
you can find people of all the dark races on the planet earth, who some of them look like people of other dark racial groups. you could find a ethiopian that "looks like" a person from another part of africa. "looking like" is not the issue.
as far as who "black americans" descend from, we descend from ourselves.
so you or anyone can understand, ask yourself, "who do the japanese descend from"?
who do the aboriginals of australia descend from?
who do the chinese descend from?
these people are distinct racial groups who do not descend from anyone. they are the progenitors of there own people.
think about it. where is your african michael jordan?
where is your african whitney houston?
where is the african muhammed ali?
the biggest boxing match in the history of the worl took place in africa. was this fight between two africans? no, it was between two "black americans". the races in africa are simply not as strong as our people are. mentally or physically.
if our people descend from the africans, and we have done all of the amazing things we have done in america, what should the african natives be doing? they should be doing greater things than we have done.
but they are not, because we are not the same people. our people have an upright nature. our nature doesn't deal with things like cutting up your face, drinking blood, praying to rocks, running around naked, etc.
the dark races in africa understand that we are not heir people. this is why you have NEVER heard any of the african nations say, "let our brothers come back home".
the africans have many seats in the united nations. do the EVER speak up for the "black americans, west indians, etc"? they don't because the know we are a different racial group from them.
and no this is not due to "race mixing". we were a seperate racial group when our people were dwelling in africa. we had our own seperate civilazation, customs, laws, etc.
has anyone ever looked at the africans? can anyone honestly say that the women from africa, are even CLOSE to our women in terms of beauty?
can anyone honestly say that the men from africa, come close to our men in terms of looks?
the dark nations in africa, look nothing like our people.
the white man knows the difference between the "negroes" and the "africans". only our people don't know.
this is the simple explanation to your (serenasailor) question. this knowledge is deep and very lengthy.
people can believe what ever they want to. but i have NO reason to lie or not tell the truth about this.
what i have wrote here IS the truth. you can believe it or not.
and i was taught this by wise old men, who actually learned from a man who was a slave.

my ex is hot, she looks like alliyah (r.i.p) but just a tad darker. and her moms looked good too, her mom was born and raised in africa but my ex was born here. there are gonna be good looking women where ever you go, besides africa is a big ass continent with more of a population then north america, so just by logic it would be safe to say that there are more attractive people in africa then there are in north america (lol ... there would be more ugly ones too). i guess when it all comes down to it everyone will have their own opinion of who's attractive and who's not. |

You don't know enough black people, if you don't know any black people who know the difference between African blacks and non-African blacks.

although I guess they wouldn't be descendants of east Africans really
but yeah on the point of saying that just b/c ppl from Nigeria and Ethiopia and South africa or w/e all live in african doesnt mean they have same ancestors
ex. Northern ethiopians have Arab ancestors
