You're all right in my book but I think you're being a little too harsh. I mean, shit, if Justin Timberlake can have a thread, a thread that garnered over 100 responses, mind you, then so can Anthony Anderson.
I realize you're one the more cerebral members of this forum. So, maybe lightweight conversation and chitter-chatter annoys and/or insults your thinking. But I like the wide range of topics on this forum - everything from the serious to the silly. Besides, I do think Mr. Anderson is funny and a big, ol' cuddly teddy bear. And I think it was sweet of him to treat SS's mom & sis to lunch.
Is this an important topic? Hell no! But it's not the first trivial subject here and it won't be the last. Plus, it's healthy every now and then to banter about matters of no real importance, no? |

I'm not sure I find him to be especially funny. But I like Anthony Andersen as actor.
The scene where he pretends to be gay in "Cradle To Grave" (DMX, Gabrielle Union, Jet Li) is a RIOT! Hahahaha!!! |

In guest appearances on talk shows, Anthony exhibits the very endearing trait of not taking himself too seriously. He was also very funny in "Scary Movie" 3(?). |

Thank you. Your point was smooth, thought provoking and sincere. I like that. Yes, I will admit some of these trivial posts about whether someone's poonany smells bad, silly questions about rappers and actors, Beyonce mass hysteria, light complexion vs. dark complexion and why it must be that way, black men aint' shit, do white people stink (yes -that actually was a post!), etc, etc....are just that -trivial! Yeah, I'll admit it, I it does irk the shit out of me. But to be fair, you stated some members, especially the younger ones, are attracted and flock to such drivel. They eagerly respond to these posts and seem to enjoy discussing such things. And yes, they have a right to do so. It reminds me of VH1, BET and MTV imitating life! OMG! That said, I will digress and leave the thread......
