Is it me or is Sanaa Lathan looking goooooooooood as Hell these days. I alway thought she was pretty but now Damn!! she doesn't have an ounce of fat on her body. |

Sanaa is among very FEW female entertainers (including actresses, singers, rappers, etc.) I find utterly DELICIOUS. I don't know. Perhaps it is because she's one of those REAR female media stars who appears to be an AUTHENTIC woman. That, plus there's something about her eyes and lips that gives a brotha some SERIOUS wood.
Honestly. When I see her, my mouth starts to water.
I can understand why Denzel almost (I guess) made her his babymomma. |

for some reason i am really feeling that light skinned shick from off of "girlfriends" every since i seen her in a tatto magazine ... ooops did i change the flow, my bad, sanna is alright , she did survive in the alien vs predator movie so she's alright with me. |

I like tattoos, but just not on me....I'm very likely to change my mind and not want it in just a few years. Piercings are better....change your mind and just remove them.

Admit it, ABM: Part of the appeal for you is the whole lesbian storyline, yes? LOL
Anyway, it's fun to see a Black female character on TV who everyone is hot over--male or female. Also, I am greatly relieved that they are not avoiding the fact that she is Black like in some shows. (Like with whatshername's guest stint on Friends.) I especially like Christian's recent line about her "chocolate cupcakes." My husband and I were cracking up! |

Well. Maybe 'racist' is a bit much. Let's just say they make sport of Sanaa Lathan's character being Black in ways that many Black foks might not like. It's basically of sort of highgrade, wicked, seductive brown sugah vintage.
Honestly, though. It don't bother me one bit. Because, hell, when I look at Sanaa, I start thinking about caremel and chocolately taste treats TOO.

I LOVE being called "Hot chocolate" ("brown sugar") and don't see it any different than white women being called "Blonde Bombshell" or "snowflake".
I mean when I've had a white boyfriend, I called him "Snow Trojan".
I've never had a problem with my "color" being NOTICED and acknowledged, as long as it was positive.
I agree with feminists on a lot of issues--but one of my problems is that MANY feminist "leaders" speak from a lesbian identity, and therefore, make assumptions for all of us.
Though I can appreciate and support most of what they say---they often don't leave room for my own desires as a straight woman----a woman who likes to be called "bitch" while I'm sucking a man's dick (which is something I quite enjoy--sucking)....and they forget that "at times" and "in context"...I might enjoy being whistled at or smacked on the bottom. And I love it when White and Latina men make little specialized remarks that they mean as compliments.
What I don't like is being called "a beautiful black woman"----while a white woman is simply called "a beautiful woman".
And it's sad that only black men do this to black women.
When a white man (or African man) says that I'm beautiful, he doesn't mention "black", he just says---"You're a beautiful woman."

I think you've GOTTAH let men and women 'play' with each other some. Differences between us can often help facilitate such.
And sometimes when a Black man refers to a sista as being a beautiful Black woman he's trying to emphasis the unique specialness of her being BLACK. So he's not degrading her beauty. He's actually celebrating part of what's especially WONDERFUL about it. |
