VS - What inspired me to start my online business was so that I could retire early from my federal government career. Twenty years of that shit was all that I could take. I've had some sort of business venture going since I was in my teens - I am a born entrepreneur - always selling something - cosmetics, perfumes, tupperware, clothes, jewelry, whatever. I've sold online for over seven years now and I think it's wonderful. I don't make any of the things that I sell - I don't have time for that. I am a merchant. I deal directly with the manufacturers and beyond that I can't divulge my business model. It's not difficult to find my stuff over at eBay and you're welcome to contact me directly at anytime. |

Good! Glad you see it that way. That's why you're here also, right? You're the one who keeps posting these inane 8th grade questions about celebrities. Have you read a book lately? No? How about ever? No again? How about a newspaper? Oh, alright...you've seen them but you don't deal with them. Oh boy.....Well, ok....tell ya what, I'd like to recommend and outstanding book that I just finished ( I bought it to get some information about Aaron Douglas -love the mans art work). It's a basic little book called "Harlem Renaissance" by Nathan Irvin Huggins. It's a fast and easy read (nothing that will tax your brain with big words and complex thoughts -something you probably fear) and it is a very good introduction to a very critical and fascinating period in black America. Check it out. It will give you some insight into important black writers and the state of America during the first thirty years of the 20th century. I think you'll like it.

No! No! No! Look Aaron, Ebony, Source, Vibe and Gay Life do not count! You have to read a real book son! Try taking a look at one on Taylor Branches excellent books on the civil rights movement or perhaps Bob Woodward's newest book. I know this is somewhat unfair of me asking you to do so considering your limitations, but maybe you can ask someone to help you read them. You know, something like a reading tutor. If that is too intimidating for you, I recommend you purchasing audio books on CD. Perhaps that would work better for you. That way the big words and complex sentences won't confuse and frustrate you when reading. Ok?
